Merry Christmas 2016 (Patreon)

I haven't done a Christmas illustration since 2014 and I probably wasn't going to do one this year either. However, late Christmas Eve, I came up with this idea, and I then spent practically all of Christmas Day, and several hours the following days to work on this. There might be a bit more work to do, so don't be surprised if I update it.

Pieces like this take A LONG time to do, which is why I rarely ever do them.  The rendering alone took most of the time. I started in greyscale, then coloured it afterwards. Thankfully, my idea was pretty resolved early on, so that meant less editing after the values were rendered.

Anyway, let's look forward to 2017 together! Let's get some more cool art done.
