Collection  -  Concept Art  -  Dropbox

I'm done working for the month. Don't forget to check out the Dropbox Archive if you haven't yet, but most of this month's work was posted straight onto Patreon.

-

I lost control just a little bit with how much art I ended up sketching, but I should try to focus on more important work than assorted sketches.

Due to my current financial situation, I need to take a lot more commissions every month now. I didn't reach my quota for August, but I had a bit of cash saved from sales in the past on itch.io to make up for it. I'll need to take on more work in the upcoming month, but I also need to be careful to not overwork. I was feeling a bit drained near the end of this month.

Having to pull away from those Beaumont comic pages (because they are not at all profitable) meant I didn't produce as many major illustrations, which I hope to fix next month too... Perhaps I'll try to plan ahead a bit more.

-

I'd like to try working on something to sell in October... Perhaps an image set? I will probably keep it in the rough, black & white style that I've been using for Beaumont content lately. I only have a month to create something, however.

I've been neglecting my health and apartment lately, but it is difficult not to under the current circumstances...

Don't forget to eat & sleep.

Despite things, it was still a fantastic month of art.

I think it might be a good idea for you to produce clothed/unclothed alternates of certain pictures- leaving the unclothed ones for patreon. Your art is fantastic, you just need to tempt more people into supporting you to see more of it. Right now it's sort of binary- they can either see the art or not. And if someone can't actually see it, it's harder to desire it. Giving a taste and offering something more lewd as a reward for support wouldn't be a bad way of going about it.

Technically, they see most of it. My Patreon functions on an Early Access system. A lot of popular artists do what you're suggesting, however, and it is something I should be considering. But it does take a lot longer to create works like that, so it does risk creating a situation where patrons will leave because I'm not as active as they thought I might be.

I'm following a good number of artists on patreon and otherwise and you easily put out the most work out of any of them as it is, so I wouldn't be too concerned about not being too active as it currently stands. Even if you were slower slapping underwear on a few drawings (which is all you'd really need to do, nothing more elaborate), your output would still outpace anyone else I, personally, am following. Especially since you'd then be creating two works, essentially- one clothed and one unclothed. For hyp content especially clothed pieces can be a great addition anyway as a 'before' image imo. Besides, I think most patrons would rather see you financially stable and continuing to work safely as an artist than doing something else entirely to make ends meet.
