Beaumont Comic

I've spent the last week outlining the upcoming Beaumont comic project, which was harder than I thought it would be (glad I took a week for it). The product will have approximately 40 pages, but is subject to change. The scope of each story is smaller than the prototype and will focus more on atmosphere & tone than concrete, overarching narratives.

Moving on. I will spend the first week of August sketching thumbnails for the comic. 

This is an important step of the process because it's a bit like drawing the visual script; how is each page supposed to look and transition into one another. It will give me a much better idea of everything that needs to be done so I can begin and work without interruption. This means you're going to see pages proper in Week 2, but I'll still be working before then.

Starting tomorrow, this comic will be my top priority for the next several months. I'll still try to find time for the Voting Polls when I can, and I'll probably have to take commissions too because otherwise I'll starve and die, which is great for me. But y'know... Not ideal.
