The latest Dungeon Master illustration features the Beaumont cast. Countess Karantos prepares to cast forbidden magic on our heroes, only for it to backfire on her!

If I created a tabletop RPG built around the Beaumont setting, I'd likely remove spell slots & memory limitations, and have the player roll a D20, with the spell's effectiveness based on the roll. Rolling a 1 would cause the spell to misfire and explode in the player's face. Cast as many cow TF spells as you want on people, just don't roll a 1!
