Instead of giving myself a bunch of work to do each day, I’m scheduling my weeks around 1-2 core ideas. So, this first week was all about the patron-driven poll & a quick concept art.

The idea is to have more time for experimenting & creating better artworks (and relaxing too). I’d like to use some time to explore and develop other creative skills, like animation or game development. I think we might end up with more interesting artworks that way.

I can do some sketch suggestions during free time too; so, they’re extra fun instead of obligations. Even if I’m not strictly prioritizing them, I still plan to do a few. So, feel free to continue sending your ideas in. I like your ideas and more options are better than less.

The next week will be dedicated to commissions.

Patron-Driven Polls

We finished the first patron-driven poll of the new format, and it went well. I asked patrons to pick a female villain to pair with my Link, and we got a fun piece out of it.

The poll lasted a bit over 5 days, but votes were trickling in very slow over the last 2 days. Perhaps it might be better to make them 3-4 days long instead. Or perhaps it can change from time to time. Maybe we could have month-long polls that’ll give us MULTIPLE images, even. Who knows?

We might be able to fit 1 or 2 more in the month, though I’m not yet sure what their subjects will be.
