It feels like I've worked a lot lately, so I'll need to make sure that I get plenty of rest too. It's still a bit of a scary prospect, with what's been going on lately with money and stuff.

This month brings a big change to my routine by introducing commissions nearly every day of the week on Picarto -- my art streaming platform of choice. I'm only planning to take 1-2 offers each day, but I'll be streaming often, so there will be plenty of opportunities if you are interested.

The first few commissions were nice enough, and I even enjoyed working on them, to some degree. I've yet to determine if they're sustainable, so we'll have to keep at this for few months to see.

Anyway, here's a preview of an upcoming illustration -- courtesy of our Dungeon Masters.

This work features a bimbrells garbed in the clothing of a cleric to the Goddess of Love. 

It's very simple in what it's trying to accomplish, and I'll still want to make a few adjustments here and there. I don't know how to feel about her hair going beyond the boundaries of the image. First, I didn't think it mattered much. But now, I'm not so sure...

I think the composition makes use of the space well enough, with an interesting relationship between positive & negative space, and the organic elements like the flowing cloth & ornate designs are kinda cool.

Latest Concept Art

In the most recent Concept Art & Discussion post, I talked a bit about Snow Daze. A brief bit about my involvement with the game, and some ideas for a quick fan-sequel. The subject of Snow Daze is one deeply entwined with hypnosis, so it's really not for everyone.

For those of you who really enjoyed Snow Daze, that might be something you'd like.

What's Next?

I'm planning to produce another Concept Art post; one that will more likely interest a wider group of you. It will be less idea focused and more concerned with visual design & stylistic expression, which I will need to decide upon if I'm ever going to create comics on a regular basis.

The post will probably be called Visual Expressions - Colour & Comics.

Anyway…

You can also expect to see a few more illustrations and NSFW Sketch Suggestions this month too. There have not been very many suggestions made yet, but I guess it is still pretty early in the month.

I'm going to try and take it easy for the rest of the week, but I still plan to stream.
