[Feed] December Begins (Patreon)

It's still pretty early in the month, so I haven't done very much. Most of my time has been spent towards cleaning and trying to relax. Still, I managed to produce a few sketches during that time.

Work in Progress

Continuing with last month's trend of showcasing WIP illustrations:

I didn't REALLY produce any noteworthy holiday content last December, so I decided to get an early start on a Christmas-themed illustration this year. I'm hoping for the finished image to look something like the major pin-up from last month. 

Unlike the previous pin-up, the pose is straightforward and focuses on sharp, contrasting angles. Although it is serviceable, I should strive for more dynamic figure work. But perhaps the lack of ambition in that quality can be compensated through ambition in other elements of the piece. 

I'm hoping to create a background for the piece too that's a bit more than just a solid colour, but I'm probably going to try and do that in Dreams (PS4). Nothing too complicated though.

What to expect this month?

Two major illustrations are planned; the artwork previewed above & an undecided piece. Though I might do a few smaller pieces during the month if time is permitting.

I have outlined a Concept Art post focusing on some basic narrative details for a Female Link comic series, and I've also begun outlining another focusing on Amaranth's character design. The former is further along than the latter, but one of them should definitely be up this month, at least.

I'm still trying to take it slow, but doing so has always been very difficult for me. I feel very tired, but like I can't afford to be tired, so it's a struggle to deal with.
