The month is almost over, so I thank you for your patience.

This piece is a bit rougher than I'd have liked, but I wanted to get a second piece out this month and I was interested in experimenting with brush control. I liked this month's first illustration, but I think a few spots looked a little too smooth & clinical for me, so going in the other direction helps to get a bigger picture of this style of rendering. 

There isn't much to say about this piece: It's Link standing! On a semi-white background! I think the top of her hair is my favourite part of this piece, but there are traits that I really enjoy in the thighs as well. One thing to note is that, unlike my previous piece, there's a wider range of colours used IN the painting. Notice how there are little specks of blue & red in the tunic, for instance? That's something I should try to do more of.

I like it, and I think the bits of color help with the overall piece. I think you did a great job with it.

Colour tends to be complex in real life, with various different colours present in areas you might not realize. It helps to add more life to a piece, and is an invaluable technique for painters in general.
