I worked on this illustration longer than usual, so I thank you for your patience. I hope it was worth the wait. Though I did wind up colouring this a tiny bit faster than I expected to -- not sure if that will always be the case with this style. Though, I'm sure there are still places that could still use some refining.

Having spent more time on this piece, I tried to be more mindful of my line work. My work usually has one consistent line width, and that's oftentimes a poor quality in my work, and I usually bolster my work with shapes & colour instead. Still, I wanted a bit more diversity in my line width, so I went back and thickened the line art in some places. You can see this effect most noticeably in the armpit or the legs. Overall, you'll find that areas like the hair, folds, knees, and feet are a bit more rendered than usual -- as I'd ordinarily rush through details like that.

The colour rendering has a bit more attention given to it too, with certain parts of the shading being soft, while other parts have harder edges. If you look at the clothing on the shirt, especially at Link's waist, you'll see these really cool sharp shapes in the values (lights & shadows), but then areas like the breasts have softer transitions between values.

I've done rendered work like this before, and I don't imagine it's always very good but I think this is probably my most successful attempt. Would you like to see more works like this? Or do you prefer my watercolour style?

Also: I tossed in a few variants in case you'd like a slightly different flavor of Link.

It's fantastic. I think the attention to the lineart you gave, along with the shading, is definitely worth it. They're all sexy, but my favorite might be the brunette one. Pink is a close second, though!

My Link originally had brown hair, since she was a genderswap of the classic Link, so every now and then I like to revisit it when I can.

More like this, every now and then, would be nice, yes.

Very nice coloring.
