I was watching a friend of mine stream Bloodborne earlier today, and he was fighting a particular boss in the DLC. The Holy Moonlight Sword, which appears to be a FromSoftware staple, having appeared in previous games. It's a cool-looking sword, so I drew this. I was planning for Link to be a bit closer to a chibi, with both her entire body and the entire blade in shot. Alas, I just wasn't feeling it, so I decided on something a slight bit serious in tone. Those hands were tough to draw too!

I took a bit longer on it than I'd like, but it worked out alright enough. One particular thing of note is that I started this with a much less de-saturated colour palette, so it was certainly interesting to shade it without getting too contrasted - I think it worked out.

Don't forget to eat and sleep.

It might have taken longer than you like, but it looks BADASS. Moonlight Link is tied for Best Link! (Breath of the Wild link, after all.)

Oh my ~ #guidingmoonlight I'm actually a pretty big nerd over that weapon. My personal favorite in the Souls games and as you mentioned, a FromSoft staple. Originally from King's Field but spans over both the Soulsborne and Armored Core games. Since it's Link wielding this, I assume she can only use those projectile blade beams when her health is full. No Quicksilver Bullets in LoZ. In the Souls games it would ware down weapon durability faster. I dig this piece a lot. Very good stuff. PS: I think it being a DLC weapon in Bloodborne is bullshit though. I think it's the only FromSoft game where it's not in the base content. Thankfully Old Hunters is a good addition.

Holy crap, this is awesome.

It is very nice. However, something feels off about the eyes. Can't quite put my finger on it.

It's possible. I'm not a good artist, after all, so there's almost certainly something wrong with em.

Nah, you're a darn good artist. Better than I ever will be. I think the thing is that her eyes aren't quite looking at the same place. Though I might just be going mad and looking too much into it.
