A Generation Of Shrek (Patreon)

Somebody once told me that Shrek celebrated it's 20th anniversary this year. That's right, we are all old.

But how has Shrek aged 20 years later? What if we were to dive into every single reference the movie makes and figure out how well they they have aged for a new generation? A noble quest given there's onion-layers of references in this movie!

However, over the past couple of weeks, me along with the help of the folks over on the Discord server have combed through the film and picked out all the references we could find. I've attached our findings to this post (let me know if I've missed anything!)
