Here's just a very quick 25 second clip of the bioluminescent algae in action.

Once I had imported it from the US, I had to let it settle in very controlled conditions as, despite it being a plant, leaving it at the window with natural sunlight could kill it. It need consistent temperatures and 12 hour light cycles, so these guys have been living in my loft.

It took most of the week, but they finally rewarded me with a little light show. It's hard to truly capture on video, but it's beautiful and a joy to witness up close!
