Lo Fi April Fools (Patreon)

I've always loved April Fool's Day on the internet. And every year I try to do something for it like a movie about a Really Big Cat or a game inspired by Monkey Island.

I missed last year's but intend to make up for it! On April 1st, Eddache will suddenly become a 24-hour Lo-Fi Hip Hop radio station! A parody of the very popular one, I've been trialling out running my own radio station and slowly beginning to understand how it works. I'm going to be running trials whenever I can on another YouTube channel but I'll try to do a schedule live show just for you Patrons, so I can test it with an audience! I'll keep you posted if and when that happens!

As you can see in the GIF, I've been building the scene based on the anime-girl-studying loop. The scene is packed with references, especially if you're an old-school Edd Egg fan. Basically I'd been going through all the old Flash files for props and assets to fill the scene.

The visuals aren't going to be just a loop though. At random intervals, I'm going to have something random happen. These are:

• Something happening out the window
• Something happening on the laptop screen
• The cat's face/expression when it faces camera
• Eddache's expression/reaction to the previous

I'm still deciding on what those random occurrences will be, but I'm open to suggestions if you leave a comment with some ideas! As long as it all resets back to the norm again afterwards to restart the loop.

The music will be actual Lo-Fi Hip Hop but I'm going to add some jokey-versions & remixes of them, plus some definitely not Lo-Fi songs! I'll also contact some musical-friends for contributions to the playlist!

Given all the quarantining and self-isolation happening, I'll try and have another video made in tandem so this one isn't the only one in April but who know what'll happen over the next few weeks! Hope you're staying safe and washing your hands!
