Samus Aran WIP 001 (Patreon)

I hope everyone is doing well. Here are the first set of images for Samus, and friend! There are a couple of experimental ideas in testing before I decide which one to persue. One thing that is for sure is that the Metroid is a key character/creature in the series so I feel like I have to add it to the scene. There's no way to make the Metroid look good in the final print unless its printed in transparent resin, so I will separate the spherical part from the fleshy pink parts. I hope all you resin printer owners have your transparent green resins ready. Samus's proportions are starting to come together and the goal is to make her more slender than my previous characters to make her look less bulky with her armor on. The body will require ongoing tweaks, but the next task for me is Samus' portrait. Stay safe and take care everyone!
