It’s funny how Victoria is running for a high position in politics and losing. Now she has a virus that can infect the sup population. I can see a world where she’s released the virus just to than by some miracle come up with the vaccine. This show like to mirror real world situations.

Sam got experimented and tortured by humans so he has no good connect with regular people. Shetty was definitely in the wrong for wiping out certain people because of a few bad ones.

I think the flipped x-men comparison is spot on. I made the same conclusion. I also agree that Cate and Sam have very weak minds. Cate overcompensated by having Shetty kill herself in a unnecessary attempt to prove her loyalty to her friends and boy toy. So much so that she doesn’t realize the wedge she created between them. Sam, having little interaction with people and l ready being somewhat deranged was bound to fall in with the first group to really show him companionship and say it’s ok for him to lash out at others. It’s sad because that’s going to split him and Emma up and I think if they were to stay together , she could set him right. So we know that The guy who used to run Vought was behind Nuemans campaign and that she bent the knee to Homelander. My question is, is she still working for Vought/Homelander or does she have her own plans for the virus? I heard the show will tie into the next season of the Boys, so I guess we’ll see how things play out. What I love about the show is how it flips the viewer. The Biys has you rooting for the Supes to be taken down - even making you disappointed when Butcher and Huey become Supes to take down Supes. Then Gen V shows up and suddenly you’re cheering for the Supes and hoping those pesky humans that want them dead will get their comeuppance. It’s really amazingly well written. Clearly the villains here are Vought and the Parents who bought into this deal, turning their kids into Supes. Never thinking what it would do to the their children or the gene pool over time. If a show could define “they hate us cause they ain’t us” it would be The Boys and Gen V. Looking forward to how it all plays out.

Poor Sam He was mentally and physically abused by humans for years , him not joining the anti-human train immediately wouldn’t have been realistic. I don’t think even Emma could talk him now . One of his new friends would have to hurt Emma for him to realise he can’t fully be on their side .
