The anime will most likely never explain Elinalises curse properly, and I will not spoil it, but when she said "I can't be with one man" it's because a single man might not be able to physically provide her with what she needs, if you catch my drift

No spoilers. Badi is Demon-King, but it's not meant to be interpreted as him being the "king" of the demons or anything like that. There is a seven-tier ranking system that commonly appears in Mushoku: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Sacred, King, Imperial, and God. So basically, Badi is a king-class Demon and his fiancee, Kishirika, is an imperial-class demon. FYI, Laplace is a god-class Demon aka Demon-God. Laplace was the one responsible for the demon-human war and making the Sperds going crazy. He was defeated and sealed away (but not killed) by Pergeus and friends. Kishirika and Orstead have both compared Rudy to Laplace now.

they tried to cover it on the episode where Rudy and party leave the Doldia village. but it was very short dialog and left more questions then answers for those who never read the LN.

I think the anime should have covered the basics of her curse already, but explaining the history of when she got the curse would be a huge spoiler for another story. (actually, her cursed history will spoil at least 2 major things) whats not really a spoiler, just the anime decided to skip it, the curse is real, and if she dosn't smash she gets very weak and sickly. She almost died when she was younger b/c she couldn't get any for a while. a side effect of the curse, is that the 'leftovers' from what men 'provide' gets turned into mana crystals, and Elinalise sells those crystals, and she's been selling them for a long time since she constantly makes them, and as such, she's filthy rich. I think this should have been covered on Rudys trip to the school. The anime skipped quite a bit already this season, and LN readers could probably tell by now what they want to get to before the end of the first half of the season will be. the OP is so symbolistic its crazy, that I bet most LN readers get a little grin every time the OP plays

so in the Light novel, rudy mentioned that he bascially scratched orsted, adn badi wanted rudy to use the exact same attack on him as he used on orsted. thats why he did that rock drill again. i could go on and on, but hopefully they'll explain a few things next episode. ps. if you notice the difference in the way elinalise greets cliff. its very formal because unlike every other man ever who just wants to sleep with her, cliff actually wants a relationship. shes still best girl and her and rudys friendship is the best thing even though its only here or there. ps lee, you're killing it man. you're really putting in the work. we all appreciate it.

32:15, my thinking is mostly in agreement with Director here. I think there really is a curse, and she needs to sleep with someone every night, but she didn't think there would be anyone "active" enough to keep up with that on the daily, so she just figured it's best to spread it around and not try to get serious with one man. Maybe if she sleeps with more than one, that means she's good for the following days? Or maybe she only needs one and she just thought it was more enjoyable with more people sometimes. Or maybe RL and Adorkable are right and there legit isn't a curse/she misunderstood. It would funnier if either of those were the case and she just never fell in love.

Yeah I am not at all hypocritic against a character that was shown from the start to enjoy perverted things and then when he is honest to his original character it is what it is. It's not like he is forcing himself on anybody, so people being so freaked out about Rudy's ecchi moves, really haven't seen at all Japanese anime as this is pretty normal from even anime shows from 2000-2006 in many romance, ecchi, comedy shows. In the end it's fictional show and people are reacting to this in too innocent mindset.

Got the feeling that Badigadi and Rudy were on completely different pages (as far as what the fight was over). Rudy had suitors to deal with, Badigadi heard about someone 'interesting' from his (fiancee? wife?) partner and went to see that she wasn't BS'in, and then Rudy name-dropped a guy that nearly killed him, which turned it from a "let's see what you're made of" to a "try your best to hurt me."
