Honestly, I don't think the "spoiler" was that big of a deal personally, it wouldn't have hindered my watch experience. I feel people have extreme restrictions on these things.

As a fan, i would have just watched the movie earlier and as a reaction channel its best to post earlier, so i was expecting a spoiler that would hurt my anticipation.

I don't even think I would have noticed if I wasn't looking for it in this movie, I missed the first watch a few scenes until we reminded it and noticed more.

Anyways that's my thoughts...DOPE DOPE movie. Dope Animation. lots of fun characters to see

Yep, i replied that on one of your reactions. It's such a small scene at the very end of the movie thats hard to even see if you don't know to look for it.

When this movie dropped I was one of the people that suggested you just watch it. I watched it in theaters with my GF and she didn’t notice Gear 5 in that final scene. It’s something that you wouldn’t know what you are looking at unless you know. Same thing for the One Piece openings. The only reason ppl say the openings have spoilers is because they know what they are looking for. If you don’t know then it’s just a hint that you don’t have context for.

Pretty much boils down to all anime spoilers. It’s really funny watching reactors either not care or overlook spoilers in openings while people reeee that it’s going to somehow taint their experience. It’s really unfortunate because the last two wano openings were so crazy hype

Yea i lost significant t reaction around water 7 when the opening showed gear 2. We were hype but the community didnt like the hype coming from an opening. They want the hype coming from the moment. So I stopped admittingly my wife does wanna react them. I’m the one with the grudge lmao

It's here! Honestly, Red is my favorite One Piece film. I love Ado's songs for the soundtrack, and Uta has an amazing chemistry with Luffy on screen. Honestly, since Uta the character is canon to the series (but the movie is non-canon), I would love to see her interact with the crew in the future.

Really, people were overblowing things with the spoiler warnings for this film. In my opinion, as long as you saw the Shanks Flashback (Episode 4), and the Uta Flashback (Ep 1029 and 1030) I feel anyone could have enjoyed the film.

Before this movie Oda said he's glad he gets to make the villain for a movie a young woman. He was tired of drawing old men as the bad guys.

In episode 879, when Koby saves Rebecca's ship when they were going to the reverie is the first time we hear that Captain Koby is regarded as a Hero by the people for what happened during the Rocky Port Incident. However, we don't know what the Rocky Port Incident was yet. We just know it involved Law, Koby, and Blackbeard.

In the movie Uta dies, but because the events of the movie aren't canon (her backstory, Shanks' abilities etc are) her status is unknown

Uta is dead. @2:00:35 you can the Red-Haired Pirates around a casket with their pirate Flag draped over it. Which is one reason Luffy doesn't call out to them like you wanted him to.

I think in the past someone else asked the same thing and Lee said, after the arc he pretty much has no interest to watch the opening. The opening is what hypes up or gets you into the mood for the episode. Once the moments and arc has passed he doesn't see the point, he can't het hyped anymore.

I don't think there was g5 in the movie It looks like it because they wanted to make it more good but in that possess They made it look like g5 also they probably wanted forshadowing g5 in the anime

Watch it again. It’s definitely G5, G4 doesn’t have the swirl eye brows and he’s all white when the camera zooms out. It’s not a huge spoiler because if you don’t know what you’re looking at because it goes by so fast and it’s very zoomed in or really far away.

One thing to mention is that the five elders were implying that if uta is shank’s daughter than she would be from the figardland family. Think back to when shanks was allowed to have a secret meeting with the five elders about a “certain pirate” and why during the paramount war, sengoku allowed shanks to end the war and take the dead bodies home. This means the figardland family name means a great deal to the five elders and possibly a celestial dragon family line.

SPOILER!!!!!!! in the 4 billion volume that was released along with the movie to attendee’s of the movie said… That shanks was found by roger in a stolen treasure chest at the god valley incident. He was wearing a onesie with the sun and moon symbols

Lee you need to just do what you want bro. You should have watched this movie when it dropped, like you wanted. Even if you did notice gear 5, it's all apart of the experience that you get from it that matters in the end. If you're worried about people being upset, don't. The true fans of you all would stick by your decision.

My opinion on that spoiler has always been the same: If everyone didn’t scream about it, 80% of anime onlys wouldn’t have even noticed lol. Also Lee f the community bro. Watch ur movies and openings in peace.

Eh... I'll be that one disagreement. Like, not even on the reaction side, that was just a really foolish inclusion to make. If it's only going to be for that couple of seconds, people are going to notice a difference, and those that already know about it are /going/ to call it out. The point of it was the hype associated, and they had to know that when they made it. It really just shouldn't have been included to begin with, nod to continuity or not. Minding that spoilers are even /still/ something comments can't keep quiet in other series, there's also going to be the intentional rampant troll that says it on purpose if it was missed, to cause mess.

Uta figured things out just the one year ago, after years of hating, around the same time that a fan asked about something she could absolutely do to 'help' her fans. Also, with 'things' being "I accidentally people who liked my singing." That was just a terrible mix of things, on top of the king definitely not being a therapist. Like, what are the odds of any specific island containing something, particular to her fruit? Or that it can yeet its own unseal deal at her? Wild.

I'm sorry you all couldn't see this movie sooner. I honest thought it was the best experience in the movie theater. To be honest with you this movie had more spoilers for manga readers then it ever could have had for anime watchers only at the time it came out. so you are correct in assuming that it would have been fine watching it at the time it was release. probably my favorite movie from one piece thus far. Also the voice actor for Uta's singing was also a girl name Ado who stream music online but had never been seen in person by her fans. she became a hit in Japan in 2020 on japan billboard as the youngest solo singer who face had not been seen. Oda wanted to include more stuff but the editors felt it was to soon to reveal that information.
