It’s not out of synch. There are two different audio tracks going. The show and the same show. You can hear them both. If you look closely you can see they have a duplicate window open that is playing at the same time. One is ahead of the other but both are providing audio.

You’ve got a duplicate video playing under the video you’re watching . Starts like 25 minutes before the end I think. You can see that one window is bigger than the other. Not sure how you’d fix that but you can hear the audio tracks for both windows.

Regarding the discussion around 40:00, you guys are not dumb at all! You have media literacy so you are able to follow context clues, tropes and subtext. A good movie or show will use all of those to let the audience know where things are going and what the characters will do. You guys are also very observant, so even when you deviate or mention a crazy theory, you are on the right track, haha.

I'm suspecting Nadia, the student. We're only considering the rich people, but what about her? it seems like she had something with Malcolm... Although she's like a mix of Beck and Ellie, so it may not be her.

or the security guy? I like your thought about Nadia...she shows up at the library, but not the events, which is smart if she's not to be caught, and she loves the whodunnits...formulaic, but alludes to an ability to figure out Joe's real identity...security guy has access to everything though.

My mother loved Perry Mason, and I've also had people get upset with me when I call out weird plot points way before the show or movie reveals them. There's often looks from characters and certain ways to frame gestures, or scenes, or even music cues that hint at that stuff.
