I think as you said that how different cultures deal with the afterlife is very interesting. Some other kdramas that do this are Hotel Luna (hotel for souls on their journey to the afterlife), Tomorrow (grim reapers that try to prevent suicides/deaths), and Missing: The Other Side (small village filled with souls whose bodies have not yet been found/murders solved). Also, both Itaewon Class and Hotel Luna feature a long bridge that leads from afterlife into the next place. Uncanny Encounter and Tomorrow have the in between like a location like a structure all in white as a waystation. There are lots of other kdramas that deal with the journey of souls too--more in the fantasy/horror genre. Its always been fascinating to me as well. I took a class years ago on death and dying and if was interesting to see how different cultures and different generations think of it.

You caught one glimpse of Ga Motak's counterpart, from which, you all made some insightful comments. You guys catch a lot of the subtle things Koreans do with the visual story telling. I'd mention others, but (no spoilers) Back to the title discussion. Counter, kitchen counter, score counter, I appreciate y'all going through most every definition of the word. And you're right in regards to usage, it's not common. Koreans like to find and use words that convey the precise meaning, not knowing, it's uncommon vernacular, or being a smart ass. Sometimes both. Usually both. Maybe I'm projecting.

I died laughing at 40:43 when Lee said that people will see Mun doing Parkour and the next shot is him with the cane, HAHAHAHAHAHA. Director had to stand up, lol.
