So pretty much there is no such thing as a “cursed sword”. Cursed swords are simply swords with too strong of personality that weak people can’t control them and the sword acts out (like Enma is now) and the user ends up getting killed; so they call the sword cursed. Cursed swords are just strong swords that needs a strong user to break it in. Think like a wild horse. That’s what the old man was saying.

It's irrelevant now but the sword that broke was Yubashiri. I know you will probably forget again because it was just a placeholder sword before Zoro got Shusui.

I can understand the confusion a bit because Enma does act just like a cursed sword does. On the other hand the cursed sword (kitetsu) was with zoro since before he entered the grand line lol.

Am i the only one who thought all those great swords were forged centuries ago? Now it seems like all these powerful swords have only existed for less than 100 years

I am sure the supreme swords like Roger's Ace Saber and Mihawks are like those but Zoro's swords were forge just happen to be forged within 50 years from what I can gather

I like how the flashback gives the backstory of Zoro's original two swords he had at the beginning of the series before they were destroy by Mihawk

I think the only reason Enma isn’t considered a “cursed” sword is because no one unworthy to wield it has ever attempted to use it. Cause it likely would kill someone weaker then Zoro if they tried to use it.
