I generally dislike kpop music because of how horrible and rampant it's the dark side is. Bullying, suicide, drugs, prostitution, violence, bribery. Really crazy stuff. I do like some of the shows though.

I wanna take this chance to recommend Kim Sejeong (main actress from Business Proposal). Best vocalist of the 3rd generation imo. Despite having a small agency who barely promotes her, she placed 2nd after Jeon Somi in Produce 101 and blew up in Korea around 2016-2018 because of her vocals, multitalents, and overflowing charms. Their group IOI was super popular but it was only temporary. Her 2nd group is Gugudan with 9 members but despite the heavenly vocals, visuals and talents, it kinda flopped because their company didnt manage them properly and most people only wanted to see Sejeong. Shes now a successful soloist who sang some famous kdrama OSTs and also one of the most popular actresses. She has the same career path with IU. She also sings English songs really good! it's always been weird to me how pushed the 'dark side of kpop' thing is by non korean ppl..... bc literally everything u just listed is also very rampant in the western music and entertainment industry lol it's not unique to just kpop
