I can get where your coming from. Some manga will go out of order so it probably is safer to not read it. Also your not dumb! I know that you may be joking but Ik some people may perceive you that way just based off a reaction. Trust me if I didn’t watch multiple reactors I’d forget the content too😭. And sometimes I still forget😂.

lol I don't blame u, the anime 'rearrangement' or 'only' route is definitely a good reason to stop but manga just doesn't digest the same way. For me I gotta be in the right mindset to read a manga otherwise I'm just skimming through and not really paying attention. If I'm not feeling it, I'd probably wouldn't remember stuff either. Even when I am paying attention sometimes you go back cause you realize something and you re-read it to get the new context. Lots of time and energy that sometimes I just don't have.

Maybe try reading from a series that you finished reacting to/are caught up on that you really enjoyed. That way, you don't have to worry about it and can get your supplemental content as well. But do whatever works for you.

If you want a good manga recommendation just for something to read in general, if you haven't checked out Berserk, try that. Some of the best art and story writing out there. Fair warning, it is pretty dark and graphic, though. But a great read.

You could try reading blue lock, anime was great but the manga art gives a diff experience to me with the black and white, also makes the skills and certain moves a lot clearer so was a good refresher.

Yeah berserk likely wont ever get a decent anime adaptation but the manga is S tier

I think your taste goes along closer ti completely goofy but great story mangas (Grand Blue is peak of that genre) or a darker more cynical look at life mangas (Big trio of Beserk,Vagabond and Vinland). Since u watching Vinland rn and Berserk might be a bit too dark for u I recommend reading Grand Blue (once u finish season 1) or Vagabond (classic my top 3 mangas ever). Your better off reading something without a anime adaptation or only one season. Plus hell’s paradise manga structure is weird for most ppl especially new readers

I don't know if you saw Roshi and them reaction to the first episode of hells paradise but they also kept bringing up the girls face having a dick print on it lol
