To answer director's question about "the equivalence to 'ore-wa' in Korean" it's Busan dialect, so the way the old mob boss's spoke and how Seungkwon spoke in that funny accent, and the Tony's grandma, they all use that dialect which basically when you hear that dialect you know they're about that life js.

I hope you guys react to Record of Youth someday: the main actor in that show is the same actor who played the chef that wanted to work with Soo-Ah at the end, the one you guys said looked very young, haha. Record of Youth is a great show with a great plot and amazing performances.It’s similar to Itaewon Class in the sense that the main character struggles to accomplish his dream and it’s beautiful to see.

You know, I love that Tony was consistently this character that had it together for the most part, and came out of this a whole trust-fund baby in the end. haha let me have his life, please? I'm seriously tired of working so much for this chump change here lol I'm with director on wanting more from kwon and hyuni. I LOOOVED their dynamic. This will just make me search the internet for any content I can find of their ship, because we all needed more. But overall, this was by far a solid favorite of a show for me. Slowburn done to perfection. Had us all giggling like idiots each time a kiss happened. So hard to believe hand holding happened for the first time at the very last episode. That's how you know it's a true slowburn lol This was such a fun ride with you guys. Another one for the books--onto more kdrama goodness. <3

This drama is one of my all time favorites. The writing, acting, pacing — everything is just phenomenal. I totally enjoyed rewatching it with you all! Someone mentioned the Witch Part 1 and Beloved Summer. Polar opposites but both really outstanding. The Witch is intense. The build up is slow but worth every moment as it explodes into a wild stew of action, mental manipulation, and gore. Beloved Summer reunites Kim Da-mi (Yi So) and the other lead actor from the Witch in a very enjoyable romcom. It’s quite a bit of whip lash as the actors are psycho intense in the Witch and quirky, endearing, and emotional in Beloved Summer. I’ve seen several other things with Kim Da-mi in them. She truly becomes a different person in each and every role she plays. I really love this about her. The Witch or Itaewon? I cannot choose a favorite Kim Da-mi between those two. Please watch the Witch! It’s a movie so it’s a once a done thing! I’ve been watching along with Business Proposal, too. And have totally enjoyed how hooked you all have gotten with this really well done romcom. So before Business Proposal, there was What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim? Park Seo-Joon (Park Sae-ro-yi) plays the lead in that. Super fun, super well done romcom. Many, many of the things you’re enjoying about Business Proposal are true of Secretary Kim. I think that overall it’s actually a more complex and better story. And you’d get a strong, beautiful, professional, independent, and quirky female lead. The chemistry between Park Seo-Joon and the female lead in that one is off the charts.
