It was really cool to see All Might and Stain finally meet after all this time, and of course it's when All Might really needed to hear those words. Good for Stain to see exactly what's become out of outside world with all of the "fake heroes" quitting, He was basically forced to see that his ideal wasn't really helping in the end. I think that you're right that his ideology isn't exactly bad, but his criteria of what dictates a "true hero" was just too harsh. Star and Stripe mentioned during her reveal that All Might was her master, so that explains the hero outfit and why she has such a similar vibe to him. Thanks as always for the reactions. Looking forward to seeing you guys react to S7 whenever that hits.

To be fair, Adorkable's thought that those fake heroes he killed could've been really helpful right now... it's not likely. They're the one's who would've quit by now. The heroes left still fighting now, I think Stain recognizes them now as heroes, because they're still fighting without fame or anything to gain. This is what Stain wanted, the fake heroes are no longer on stage. He said it in his speech to All Might... Results? This is a process. I think Stain always knew this torn down society was part of the process, and he wanted the real heroes left to help rebuild a just society. All For One just sped up the process, or accomplished on a larger scale what would've taken Stain forever to accomplish. Stain just needed All Might to rejoin and get back on stage, because he's the only one he really trusts.

Wasn't Stain only attacking heroes that he felt weren't actually heroes like people just for the money and fame of it. So in that sense Stain in this story felt like Batman or Punisher style hero. Still Director's "Maybe prison does work" was funny =)

2023-03-27 14:35:35 I am pretty sure Stain knows most of the heroes left are true heroes because remember that a lot of heroes quit their job at this point as such they are not true heroes because they quit their job, so I would say that Stain is basically out of a job at this point.
