I'm up changing titles and tags to videos

Long story short people's pages are getting suspended till they comply with removing specific videos, I'm renaming mine, if you lose access suddenly, give me about 24-48 hours to comply with whatever else they want. I hear they go after Bleach, Demon Slayer, Naruto, and Jojo..

I've already re-titled my Demon Slayers.....Remember a long time ago when I started to diversify videos, Animations outside of anime, K dramas, Live Actions, Marvel/DC stuff.

This was why...

in the Anime/Asian shows, I noticed very very strict practices on creators and was already working to lower my vulnerability to it. That is another reason I was gearing up to cover more movies as well.  People gripe over these things but losing a Patreon page permanently or a youtube channel...ENDS a livelihood.  It's best for us and our families guys.

Even channels that use the timer. No anime shown getting hit so it has nothing to do with legit copyright. They are mass attacking posts that even mention the show.

Dragon

all good man don't worry i kinda knew why you were getting into more live action always wondered why they let patron off the hook

A solution I've been seeing a lot of people do is using a site like Vimeo or Streamable for your reaction, then making a Google doc with links to those videos and put a link to that in the pinned post on your page. Since you aren't monetizing your vimeo or streamable account, they can't copyright strike those videos and since your patreon is just linking to the Google doc, it's less likely to raise any flags. The extra hoops it would have to go through also helps with any AI software these services use to flag videos.

Destiney Marie

I was literally gonna comment this because Roshi did this to get around the strikes.

Sato

This is sad. I hope you will be fine. Thankfully you seem to be doing all you can.

BLANK

Nah, they definitely on something

Kollie123

That’s crazy that they were striking timer reacjtons and even just posts with the names in them. At that point it’s just patreon not bothering to even try and distinguish what would have the copyrighted stuff in them That being said…are you gonna make a post of the renamed stuff somewhere?

Thamor

Well at some point you might have to go timer based if this situation starts to go out of hand.

Random Guy

How about doing this on only fans? I know onlyfans has become synonymous with adult content, but it was originally created for creators (authors, actors etc) to interact and sell content to their fans (thus the name onlyfans). The only reason why it has become home to so many adult creators is because all other sites started cracking down on them, and onlyfans didn't. Honestly I don't care where it is as long as we can watch your reacts Also a possibility, I remember roshi had a discord channel where you can only access it if you were a patreon. So basically we can just pay here in patreon, but access all the content in discord. Also you might wanna start backing up all these content coz you never know when they will take it down.

Yaboyrocklee

Yes. We already have it. It’s the inventory of tagged reactions page. The website i share

Joshua Miguel Cruz

Whatever happens bro, I'll always find your content and will always support you guys.

Jay rellim

even people with full timer reactions and no video are getting suspended smh

Thamor

I don't even understand how can timer be copyrighted or claimed? It's just timer running, whatever show they watching nothing is shown and everybody else use their own copy of it. Internet laws is just baffling how they weave, slip and wave constantly.

OneAnk

So even patreon taking hit now as well man the studios can't understand there are major country where most of the anime is not officially in website like crunchyroll and Netflix like how even big show like one piece not available in biggest population country in the world(India) most of us has to go to patreon youtube or pirate website (gogo for ex) most of there popularity coming for this source only

Dirty_Oldman

What about the Blindwave style? They just have the discussion videos and then a separate reaction video.

Ryu

I know it might be a hassle. Maybe you should start your own website

Random Guy

patreon dont wanna anger big companies coz lawsuits are expensive.

Yaboyrocklee

Correct random. So the companies don’t require proof of anything really. They click claim and it’s virtually automatically approved and takes us 20 days to work out and the damage is done. Patreon is avoiding a mediator role. The difference today is they have a method to hit multiple people faster and multiple videos faster than ever. This is actually not new problem. Yaboyroshi hit git 6 months ago and deployed the method you saw above and been preparing to utilize the same when pushed against the wall. Thats why I named Bleach Blood Clot on the patreon title. It started as a joke but I was like. “I need name it something different anyways)

Dirty_Oldman

I took that that mean the timer like you mentioned with Normmies and some other channels. Wasn’t sure if you also were including pure discussions only also. Which I guess you mean in a Totallynotmark kinda way when his Youtube got hit just for talking about Dragon Ball in an essay format. He only showed a few images.

Jessica

Thats probably more dangerous though because then any copyrighted stuff would hit him directly as a person, rather than as warnings/closed accounts like with vimeo & things like that. He could get sued or fined since he is hosting copyrighted material

L.C.

Yea I saw a couple of reactors on patreon I am supporting say something a few days ago. Its completely stupid. Difference between reactors that make a bunch of their own input and make it their own type of video opposed to a reactor playing the episode and calling it a reaction but not saying even two words the entire time

The Anime Man

I hope nothing serious happens. Stay safe and take your time doing whatever you need to do. We are here to support!
