This is my first K-Drama. Started watching reactiond when you posted episode 4. Show is so good, i already binged through the entire show by the time you posted episode 5 now. If i ever watch K-Dramas again, my expectations be damned lmao. Needless to say, keep up the fire reactions!

imo it was not in soo ah's place to stop the girl from calling the cops lol.... it would have been super nice but undeserved. aka i dont think ppl can fault her for not intervening and lying to those random girls. the restaurant was in the wrong and saeroyi wouldnt have been happy getting away like that anyway

i do understand the guilt of doing what saeroyi said tho... he told soo ah to live for herself and she said "iight bet". she chose herself in that moment by not actively intervening to help saeroyi and tell them the kids were underage... but still wants to have him as her man lol which saeroyi is even ok with!! probs makes her feel worse lol

She had the moral high ground too. She knew they were underaged, yet she choose to remain neutral and do nothing. Saeroyi knows that eventually she will have to take Jangga Co side and he is okay with that, making her feel miserable because she will have to hurt him.

i hope yi-seo improves in the story bc i dont like her romance w saeroyi that much. she's selfish (perfect counter against soo ah when yi-seo literally sexually harassed saeroyi by kissing him while he was unconscious), and her feelings so far are just like "i get what i want and im bored. this guy is interesting, lemme see if he can tickle my fancy" which sounds find but idk why she seems so selfish or obsessive w it w her actions and demeanor

soo ah had that one fuck up w the cops + restaurant thing but honestly she's the most realistic person - strong independent woman caught in between her crush/childhood romance vs her company and besides the cop thing, she's trying to protect him from her boss without sacrificing her career. and she feels bad that her potential man is so much more selfless than her despite his background that her choosing herself makes her feel like shit lol.. that and the age gap w yi-seo makes me prefer saeroyi to get w soo ah at the end but i assume it wont end like that

nah i feel it - why be neutral w a friend?? some would call that basically being against a friend. which imo is why she kept it a secret - guilty that she's choosing herself (i work at jangga co and im not gonna intervene to help another restaurant) instead of being as selfless and caring as saeroyi (who def would intervene) even if she didnt actually call the cops.

If you forget that the restaurant was Saeyori, calling the cops is 100% the right choice for any citizen to do. You see something you report it. Because she knew Saeyori, she could have gone in and talk to him and have an awkward conversation. A normal person might have seen it as an attack because she is telling them to kick their only customers (not my boy Saeyori tho) so she choose the "kind" approach imo and did nothing (who knows how many thousands of underage kids drink daily in Korea, what's 1 more) - All I'm trying to point out is that her instinct to call the cops was morally correct.

I felt this as a Floridian myself. I’ve lived in NC for 12+ years now, and your wardrobe just changes. Also she chose to let Saeroyi get suspended she had three chances to stop it and she chose none of them, if she was truly his friend then the moment she saw them in that pub she and he asked “do you know them?” That is when she should’ve told him they are minors and you need to get them outta there before you get caught.

Also, it was quick, but around 32:22, Guen-Soo’s face changed when he noticed how Saeroyi looked at Yi-Seo. Guen-soo clearly realized that Saeroyi was at least interested in Yi-Seo, but it seemed that no one else noticed. Saeroyi was also hesitant to put his hand over Yi-Seo’s because he looked at it for a while, when it shouldn’t have been a big deal at all. He should have immediately put his hand in.
