Black Hawk

This might be one of the best episodes I've seen

Jay rellim

imo shoto also snapped in a way. not just the mom and toya. they were all abused and neglected by endeavor. yeah toya kept trying even if it hurt but he was a kid who understood his literal purpose in life/why he was born was to surpass all might. then his dad basically saying “nah you’re a failure. stop trying to train and im not really gonna be a dad to you anymore i’m focused on a new project/kid.” through his actions. i feel pretty bad for the kid. and i’m glad endeavor is getting consequences for his actions, it’ll help him grow. good episode

I am not trying to stretch it but without Deku saving shoto back in season 2 indirectly saved the todoroki family. The most direct part was shoto himself and they even say it in this episode. Without shoto being able to go see his mom and make things right and without him being able to try and handle things with his dad this "better" outcome wouldn't have happened. Todoroki would have just never went down the right path in order for all of them to come together without Deku sacrificing his win in the tournament in order to try and "save" shoto himself.

Jessy

Serious moment. Lee: Ayo, Fuyumi tho

L.C.

If I was Deku I would be clapping shoto's sister cheeks. Like listen bro we homies but your sis too sexy not to get some.....

matthew bremmer

Deku is too mutch of a nerd to clap any cheeks. Uravity has been hitting him up since episode 4. Go with the doujins if you want some action.

AbelToGame

I know it's a shit take on my part but I can't help but get annoyed at Natsu's little extra comments.

Sonicluis

Who’s the real villain. The kid that doesn’t know better, or the men that beats his wife. It’s obvious and I don’t know why people make excuses for him.

MWS

Natsu's purpose it to verbalise how the family feels, they are ready to move on but they do not forgive him

MWS

no one makes excuses for what he did, the people that like him like him because hes changed and is OBJECTIVELY a better person who is respectfully trying to atone

Skebaba

TFW Dabi was WORSE kid than fucking Shiggyboi, smh. Dude was legit some type of sociopath or w/e based on what lil bit we saw this episode...

logan

dabi also was like i wanna pass endeavor so i get attention. if he gave him attention i believe that this would never happen

logan

idk when shiggy snap his snap was crazy he was walking with hands on him

What you talked about Endeavor putting it together. It's so easy to say a character is stupid as a show like this it's a tough job to follow what a character knows in the story compared to viewer who gets all the points of view from villains to heroes and is always ahead on what is happening compared to the MC and rest of the characters. So I never felt Endeavor was stupid, but he is very single minded in his purpose to this point in his goal of making a child that would be number one hero and could be more powerful than All Might. What I am trying to say, Endeavor was in tunnelvision all his life and seeing plots/intrigue/mystery is impossible if your mind is only focused in one direction.

2023-01-30 14:55:26 Facts brother. You explained what i was observing very well. Like… i know he’s not actually stupid lol. But there was something missing in terms of putting 2 and 2 together and i think you said it well. People just jump and say I’m wrong. This is a better approach. There’s something Valid in what i see but couldn’t articulate or put my finger on it and this is 100% it. Appreciate it.

I think I mentioned Endeavor not putting it together cuz of the heat of battle. But i think Hawks in the same scenario would put it together but that fits his whole mo having a birds eye view

Hawks is the polare opposite of Endeavor in the sense that he is very distrustful and very observant of different views, why this episode showed very well how fast he put it together, but for Hawks he had more proof of different situations of Deku and this whole fiasco what happened for everybody. Hawks had outside perspective too, which makes things much more easier to put together (no direct contact of All Might or Deku). I normally for show like this don't go too deep analysis of character motivations or psychological stuff as I still feel this is pretty basic shounen stuff, but this episode was pretty well done in story structure of Endeavor's family issues. I am in the end more analytic for stories like Re:Zero (Which is in my top 3 anime) =)

“Kid that doesn’t know better” nah fam he attacked a baby out of anger and spent years hurting his body no matter how much his mom and dad pleaded with him to stop. He had enough time to get some common sense considering Rei had two more children, he didn’t even try to do anything else Toya should’ve been thrown in anger management after they way he snapped at his mom and baby shoto

Shakir

I like how ten toes down lee is on his endeavor fandom. Only thing i HEAVILY disagree with is the tick the mom and toya had was super small and only happened BECAUSE of Endeavor. Remember Toya only wanted attention and love (bare minimum) and the mom was abused and beat by her husband and his manic eyes made her snap. Blaming hereditary shit (which it could be but wouldn’t have happened if it wasn't for endeavor) I heavily disagree with. Other than that you straight bro

6:00 I tend to disagree with the Demon Queen here; if the government makes it illegal to defend myself with my quirk or weapons and tells me I just have to wait for the cops to show up and defend me you can bet I'm going to pissed when they do finally show up late especially if that cost lives or property from the community. Remember that in MHA you can't use your quirk for self-defense unless you have a hero's licence or you're labeled a villain like what happened to Gentle.
