y’all gotta forgive me.   it was a looooong low point in this finale.   I decided to post early. Y’all been a patient group on this side. My plan is to post Glory next week, we also have Last Of Us to start recording. This is a packed month lol. Geez.
(side note. When peo pressure me to release a show. I will generally do the opposite as to not encourage that behavior lol, you give in one time and they will think thats the norm?

This was a good ending , most people say that the joker card theory at the end means that it’s representing the hardest game which is real life the real world, just like mira saying “life is like a game” however there are many theory’s so technically we don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️☠️ thank you for reacting tho :))

Cool reaction! So, for me, I knew it was a catastrophic event that happened from episode 3 when the band got taken out. I felt like the red beams were life support lines. No idea why that popped into my head that episode but I stuck with the idea. Think it was the anticipation of the beam and the delay in it coming down. Didn’t figure out the meteor thing until the end but it made so much sense to me that they were in a hospital and the red beams were flatlines in life support. Looks like I was right on that. I did feel Arisu’s second descent into depression this episode really bummed me out. I know depression is tough to deal with - especially in a situation like this - but the woman he loved was depending on him and I just didn’t see him as giving up on her the way he did for so long. Felt really out of character and was lingered in way longer than it should have been. Like a good half of the end of the episode was just him laying on the floor. Overall a good show. Doubtful we’ll get a season 3.

i think with the joker card, it representing life is prob correct in the manga and COULD be correct here too. i mean this series is finished as far as the manga is concerned but I think netflix decided to do that with the joker card with THAT music just in case they decide to come back for a s3. i DO think if they DO a s3, it could be good so LONG as its the last season, but I also don't want them to make this entire explanation at the end with the meteor and the borderland being a fight for life as some sort of "joke" or not real like the others cuz i reallyyyy loved this explanation actually. It's so much better than, like you guys said, the other kind of outlandish stuff they tossed in the beginning of the ep. It feels like the author went in knowing exactly what story they wanted to tell. and on that note, that also makes it why i'm perfectly okay with it stopping and ending at s2. i'd prob actually prefer that because i'm tired of shows being dragged on forced to tell stories that make no sense or shouldn't exist and these 2 seasons of Alice were so perfect. like i loved s1 but s2 was phenomenal, it was worth the wait, and it feels so complete, i would hate for a s3 to ruin that. tbh if there was a s3 i'd almost prefer it to just be about the survivors struggling with returning to life and getting back on track, life being the final game. i'd find that more interesting than a return to the borderland games.

Damn even tho it's my second time watching this, it was still insane. Just as good as the first time round. This show really is fantastic, one of the best endings I've ever seen. I also think the joker card is supposed to represent the game that is life. And the manga ends at this point of the story. There is a sequel but I've heard it's not enough for a whole new season and honestly I don't really want another season. It'd kind of ruin the ending. Maybe a movie covering the sequel would be nice, although I doubt that would ever happen.

I guess everyone deals with things differently but it just seemed like it undid character development he had made in both the first and second season. Getting over the deaths of his friends, accepting that he has to listen to his friends/teams to persevere, things like that. Development that he made, which all seemed undone by that scene. I hear you though.

The queen of hearts was beautiful and cute. The queen of hearts in that doctor's uniform OMG. Itachi could learn a thing or two from her about genjutsu. Arisu lost in despair was dragging for me. They could have cut that in half.

Your avoidance to breaking under pressure from people requesting videos reminds me of the DJ from this movie called "The Goods". The DJ's name is DJ request but he doesn't take requests so people don't hold power of him and shit, it's hilarious. This episode is something else though, I had to watch it back to back.

This show (s1) was when I started following y’all on YouTube. You probably never rewatch your old videos but episode one, season one, you two predicted this was a in between life/death scenario. Side note , Director you have made big gains on your health journey( big ups to you). Now when I think of the delayed entrance into the games, my theory is that those who had been there sooner was closer to the blast. I don’t think they died but more of in a long term coma, if they decided to stay in borderlands. Finally, we didn’t see a lot of little kids because their little bodies would have had a harder time surviving the blast. You guys are always entertaining and best wishes.

I feel like it was a valid response. Depression, grief and self doubt never heal in a straight line. You can have a string of good days and then wake up really low again. It’s life and heartbreaking. I do like your theory that the ladders were the life support lines.

That's a good theory that there is always people in borderland, thats why the people entering at different times was a thing. I didn't even think of it that way. I actually took it as not everyone entered borderland at the same time of the meteorite impact. My theory is people mass joined at the point of impact, but as time went on more and more joined as they waited for help to arrive in real life. In my theory people in borderland were the people at the impact site, but you looked at it as a whole human population borderland view which is equally interesting! Since Ann was never able to escape Tokyo in borderland, she was surrounded by mountains/cliffs, I just assumed this borderland only affected the meteorite impact site. Such a great finale! Honestly one of my favorite series/season finales.

Well if they finally actually made a TV show that will follow honestly to the lore and story, then should be good show. The game has much easier of just making it to TV than making a book to TV.

I like this TV ending done better than how manga ends. I don't think they should make season 3 as only way for it to happen is they need to make totally new main characters and this show only worked so well, because they had the blueprints on how to do it as the manga has been a classic.
