This is towards that post discussion. Curry draws 2 people and will at times still attempt the shot. Hell he even makes it. He’s the striker of the warriors. He has no issue taking the tough shots and built a career so everyone believes he’ll hit it

The point is the pass itself. He had a shot against Barou and didn’t take it. He got called out on it and Niko did the same thing but Isagi called him out. The fact that Isagi scored the last goal himself makes him right. If he let someone else score it wouldn’t have had the same effect.

Few comments about the post discussion. Was Isagi and Niko passing the best move maybe but as a “STRIKER” your job is to score and believe in yourself more than anyone else. The Lesson I took is more like Fuck leaving your fate up to someone else SHOOT and whether you lost or win live with it. Just my own thoughts but hope it makes sense.

The passes are completely different imo. Isagi was one on one against a defender before even the gk isn’t the same as Niko one on one against the GK and passing when he had a clear shot.

Yeah all the Isagi attention is great and all. But for me the high point of this episode is Chigiri story, he is right Isagi has no idea what he is going through. I keep saying that losing in blue lock does not mean the end of you soccer career. That is just plain exaggeration, an injury tho? That’s the real career killer. Even pros that sometime go through these big injuries can’t recover psychologically. Doesn’t get more real than this.

You’re missing the entire point here Isagi’s and niko‘s were 2 totally different scenarios niko had no one to get past he only had to shoot while Isagi had to go through barou like the above comment mentioned and he had no clear path

Actually you both missed the point. The point is Isagi saw Niko as himself. Isagi wants to be someone who can score with his own weapon and evolve. He has good spatial awareness but in terms of skills and physical ability he is behind everyone else.
