Btw the way that guy at the end insulted him way worst than you think. He called him a “pikey” a derogatory term for Gypsy. He was just showing Tommy “you and your family are a bunch of dirty thieves so don’t compare yourself to me” basically. I also understand the lesson in the intro with you,Adorkable and Director’s lineage interesting tangent at the beginning there.

Loving your reactions and great you are interested enough to find out about the history back then. Did you know that Billy Kimber was a real historical character along with many other characters you will encounter throughout and the Shelbys were based on the writers Grandparents and their family who were really illegal book makers and runners. Steven knight the writer had this story in his head for 20 years before finally making it and he said that when he was told the stories as a child he was fascinated and so is now telling the story glamourised mythologised through the eyes of a child. Such a great story teller and the actors are just perfect at bringing it all alive. So glad i found you on Youtube and can join the Peaky Journey. (From just outside Birmingham UK)
