Director nailed it. the whole peaceful 2 minute scene where Aki is just living his life, even Denji is just chillin and then power busts the door down LOL. dont have anywhere near the same vision or goals as Denji but fuck man i relate to him more so than almost any other anime MC he just gets it side point to the end discussion. i would rather take in a feral cat that stinks and is dirty that i can clean up and nurture over a sweet adorable kitty who turns out to be a snake

2 things comes to mind in this episode: 1) Power controls blood. Denji needs blood to function. See the link? I think there'll come a time where Power gave Denji her blood to Power him up (puns intended 😉) 2) The demon dog looks more like a Nine Tail Fox than dog to me
