Off camera, we decided the anime made the ending seem like a big smoking gun, which gave me the impression that Anime only were supposed to be shocked at Renner's true colors.....so i dunno but I did keep it frank for Patreons at the end...I hope that's what you want to hear...honest thoughts....even....if i'm wrong...just some opinions we had.

Needless to say, i'm paranoid of spoilers now lol

Renner the ultimate Yandere/Psycho princess... the perfect example of never give up until your dreams become true... well maybe killing an entire kingdom is a little extreme. Now, let´s wait for the movie and the apparent final season in a couple of years.

Overlord is one of the few shows that I've just gone out and started reading the light novels. They are appearing on Audiobooks so I've been listen to them now. This was a great ending Overlord just get better an better with age. I know that the next season will more than likely be in a few years. Well I hope that you guy start adorkable on Tanya the evil before season 2 comes out.

Respect the opinion but don’t really agree. The part that breaks the thought of this being THE reveal for me is that Albedo and Renner met up and where like having tea together. But I certainly understand the feeling you could have come to the realization much more organically and it probably woulda been more satisfying.

Eminence in shadow would be my recommendation for next show. It's kinda similar to overlord's premise but much (much) more restrained and a bit more comedic (unless they change from the manga's tone).

Movie will be in that 2 month time skip that this season skipped, so don't get confused when watching it, whenever we will get it. That 2 months is amazing, hopefully movie will do justice to it. Naah there was no smoking gun about Renner, she was revealed already in season 2 to be crazy. This kingdom destruction arc was never my favorite that much, maybe I dislike it as I really liked Brain =)

In season 2 there is too many things and so many things they used in that flashback was from season 2, not killing Climb (Shalltear stops), Demiurge flying to the city and the open window with Renner and we learned that Renner is crazy genius maniac woman...which literally fits with Nazarick. So no I don't think anything said about Renner was ever spoiler =)

Season 5 will be the last season because volume 17 is confirmed to be the last volume. Volume 15 is the current volume. So you guys are only one volume behind. Looking forward to the movie because I originally thought this season will end with the holy kingdom arc(name of the arc the movie will be base on). But they decide to skip it and go straight to volume 14. Hopefully the movie come out next year. Because season 5 definitely going to be a long ass time before the last two volume come out.

I was also confused by the ending because it did seem like the anime was trying to do some kind of reveal. But that doesn't make sense because the anime showed several scenes where her true nature was exposed, and it was made quite obvious that she was working with them as an insider since season 2. I thus do not think it was supposed a reveal at the end. I think it was just a dramatic celebratory montage to highlight every stage of her plan along the way as it finally culminated to success. Just to remind everyone how long she has been scheming this, and now there is finally a payoff to celebrate.

it wasnt a reveal it was a flashback a montage of feats no scene from it was new, kinda like in black clover when asta got a montage flashback of his feats while fighting liebe. Renner is best Disney Princess, Game of Thrones wouldnt have a chance in hell against Renner, 5 years between s1 and 2 and 7 years between season 3 and 4 i whole heartly disagree that in anyway is the anime holding on to info for later we're on vol 14 the next season is the last, and based on everything they've shown in the anime its running for LN readers, they're throwing info in as if its something already known by the viewers from characters to plotlines. im talking like back in season 1 to now there are characters that have shown up just to die in anime with full backstory depth similar to climb, gazef and brain. think of the Lizardmen arc they had full backstories, Carne Village ect. i just wouldn't recommend to anyone dropping info on this reaction channel simply because it was requested, by the reactors on this channel; they prefers to do blind reactions, so it'll just be a waste of a comment
