As a reminder,  This show doesn't get posted on Youtube, so yes although it won the poll and IS BEING RECORDED... If Lycoris Recoil is Steadily being posted on youtube....it will get posted faster than a Patreon only show, it wouldn't make sense to HOLD back the UNCUTs of Lycoris Recoil just because Made in Abyss won the poll.  We record shows for youtube and provide patrons with early access to those shows, and on occasion will watch a show and leave it as a Patreon exclusive.

They explained it briefly in either episode 2 or 3 how you will be affected by ascending the different layers. You can ascend and return up to level 5. But it will be more horrible for each level. After that, it will be pretty much impossible to return.

In the original Japanese, Marulk uses the Japanese pronoun "boku", which is "typically" used by "boys", so it would be completely normal for a Japanese viewer to expect that Marulk is a boy from the moment that he starts talking. It's not mean to be complete shock and awe. The fact that he's dressed up as a maid seems to be against his will, because Reg commented "I see! So you have it tough too, then!"

to be fair the few times we saw it out side its silhouette when its being carried was it's open state which isn't a plan white cube lol so I can see missing the connection.
