this is a bit late, but angelica was suppose to end up with some back water no name minor lord at the end of the game. basically she would become a nobody. oh and viscount seems to be rank 4 so leon got a major boost this time.

Pt 1. The war was with the old humans, I assume they were technologically advanced non magic humans like we are, vs new humans, humans with magic capabilities and likely some level of tech if not equal tech to the old humans. To the second season it's been announced, I think the second season will continue building on the characters including the 5 guys. They hinted at it in season 1 and started ever so slightly digging into them as people. I expect they will stay with Marie and gain a grudging respect for Leon and vise versa.

Pt 2. Naw they don't have to go all that way it's actually a really easy sell, Leon marries Angelica and Olivia is the mistress. Kinda like how Leon's father did he's married to... Zabo? Zanobo? whatever her name is and Leon's mother was his mistress. I imagine that would be easy enough to work out between them as they both like him and Olivia is far below his rank being a commoner and him a Viscount. Though honestly I'm surprised that she wouldn't have been promoted to a baronet giving how she literally saved all their asses in the fight. Either way though it would be easy to setup assuming they, Olivia and Angelica, are ok with it.

I know I'm late to this but the reason certain scenes are animated that way is because this world is a dating Sim. The cutscenes and dialogue scenes of a visual novel, like a dating sim, are shown as a series of still frame pictures and violence, like blood and gore, is shown as a black frame on screen.

This anime actually ends like halfway through this story's arc. I started reading the light novels after I finished the anime, and was really surprised how much they cut out, and they didn't just cramp the entire arc into this anime. Makes me think they intend to finish the arc in another season.

Now that I watched the reaction, here’s some things you guys should know ( as always no spoilers) 1.-There still plenty of material for a season 2 and boooooy if there’s a season 2 it’s going to be spicy AF with a lot of plot twist and reveals 2.-Leon said in past episodes that Angelica in the original game was banished to the borderlands and got married with a cruel and sarcastic baronet… sounds familiar? 3.-Right now as far as I know, Leon is a viscount but he’s like 2-3 levels below Angie’s title (baronet, baron, viscount, count, marquess, duke, archduke, king) so technically he can’t get her yet, but with some strings, favors and other things might in the future. 4.-Let’s be honest we all want the queen she ‘s pretty and thicc 7.5/10 anime for me, Thank you guys for reacting to it.

Just to remind you, a hint that you missed/forgot about in the very first episode, Leon's dad was married to the mean hag noble lady, but that woman wasn't Leon's mother. His dad's noble wife allowed him to have a commoner lover/mistress. Which was Leon's mother, the lady you often see standing beside his father. I can't tell you how things are going to shake out between Leon and the girls, I haven't gotten that far in the novels, so no spoilers there, just a possible hint of how it could shake out.

Really enjoyed this anime, it had everything I like: Mechas, harem, isekai, OP AF MC, lol. I ended binging the anime and read all the LN available on Amazon after watching y’all reaction to the 1st ep. The animation never bothered me. Since it was supposed to be a visual novel type of game, I took it as the animators wanted to give the same feel to the anime. Or maybe they didn’t had the budget what do I know.

This season covered Volumes 1 and 2 of the Light Novels, if they were to do a Season 2 it would be just Vol 3 as there is a lot to work with. There is a chance this is just a source material seller and there won’t be a S2 but I really do hope there is.

Lee, the part where you’re discussing with Director who Leon is going to sleep with is actually laid out (pun intended 😜) in the final episode. Note both Angelica and Olivia are waiting for Leon in his room in their undies. Why? Because they intended to do “somethings” with him that involves both to be in their undies. And if both are in their undies, holding hands together sleeping in Leon’s bed, meaning they have come to a consensus agreement to share Leon with each other in bed.

Theres def material for a season 2 and if they do release a season 2 its going to be absolute heat and smoke. it starts to get pretty crazy. this was a well recieved anime and it looks like they will probably bring it back. i hope yall pick it back up

SPOILER!!kinda I remember when the manga reached this scene and i started the LN to see the progress in their relationship only to be disappointed in the result, only one major event happend in the 3rd volume and then BANG no progress at all, it feels like the relationship is only between Olivia and angie(since it's clear they love each other more than they like leon)so leon feels like the sidebitch not that he cares tho he only want to be with them.

nah they clearly love Leon when Neolle appear Olivia's yandere side appear and later Ange even chose Leon over the kingdom and her own family, I'm just saying they love Leon. I know they kiss in LN. The writer kinda say if no Leon, Livia x Ange is real.
