You all are right the only reason they hate Ainz is because he's undead. The thing is that they don't know that Ainz wouldn't do anything to his people that follow him. He doesn't want to rule over a group of mindless followers. That's why he had the idea to use smart kids they find to grow in power. Without change you can't have growth. That's what Slane Plan was but they weren't watching and let things get out of hand. With the drug trade and slavery and nobles in fight for power.

Here’s some details without any spoilers about the “losses” they were talking about during the Slane Theocracy meeting: When Raymond said that “Windstrider” betrayed them and that they lost both the Crown of Wisdom and Shaman Princess, he was talking about Clementine. Back in season 1, Khajiit (guy who fought Nabe when Ainz was fighting Clementine) mentioned that Clementine used to be a member of the Slane Theocracy’s Black Scripture. Clementine also mentioned to Khajiit that she stole the Crown of Wisdom from the Shaman Princess, which caused the Princess to go mad. Removing the Crown of Wisdom from someone basically turns them into a vegetable. When Ainz removed the crown from Nfirea, he used “Greater Break Item” so that Nfirea wouldn’t become a vegetable. To sum it up, Clementine is the Windstrider they were talking about and these losses were due to her actions. They also mentioned losing the Sunlight Scripture to the Sorcerer King. This was the unit that wanted to kill Gazef but got completely destroyed by Ainz in season 1 episode 4. The last thing mentioned was that the loss of Lady Kaire greatly weakened the Black Scripture. Lady Kaire is the old lady who used the mind control world item against Shalltear in season 1 episode 10. She did this under orders of one of the God kin who appeared for the first time in that same episode, the one that blocked Shalltear’s initial attack and said “Use it”. Shalltear’s final attack that episode pierced both the shield guy and Lady Kaire, which caused the mind control to be incomplete. The shield guy instantly died but Kaire survived. Later on, because of some of Shalltear’s character classes, it was hard to heal Kaire’s wounds. This episode they mentioned that she died. Shalltear’s attacks are just that fatal. There’s a lot more details in the LN that unfortunately, but understandably, can’t make it into the anime. Hope these details clear up some points of their conversation!

There are no spoilers here. This was actually a mistake by the anime. In the LN they were dressed as “regular merchants”. In the anime their body guards have the Slane Theocracy outfit. That makes no sense. Why show up to a SECRET meeting wearing your country’s attire? The anime might have done this to help make viewers realize more easily that they are from the Slane Theocracy, but the outfits make no sense in the context of a secret meeting.

Lee I get a little confused when you and nasty talk about following the socials in the beginning. Plenty of people don't use and hate twitter and instagram etc.... The only real way to get updates by your following is to do updates through youtube post and patreon. I get wanting to up your social numbers in other areas. Its obvious and I know no reason to explain. I just find it weird shitty twitter and insta is pushed more than the youtube postings you can do or patreon postings

I swear the parallels between this and slime is wild. Cause this whole world is full of a bunch of scheming ass claymans (especially the slane theocracy) who think they can somehow overcome the power of ainz and crew, and they fittin to fuck around and find out the hard way, and i cant wait to yall see the full demiurge 4-D chess moves being made right now.

lol my enjoyment is that the whole opposing force against ainz is that they can't allow anyone but a human to rule over a kingdom. Ainz wants a kingdom where every type of species can flourish and prosper and he has done nothing wrong for his kingdom so far but they can't take any chances because he is bone daddy instead of flesh and bone daddy. I am with ainz on this. At least that is how I took it

btw I get the thing about how people don't waste money on clothes and wear the same few shirts over and over again. Its the whole thing with how rich smart people wear the same basic white t shirt and stuff. I just think it would make you two stand out a bit more visually if you weren't wearing the exact same most basic shirts possible. I would look at it more from the reaction standpoint

Adorkable is mostly right when she says the emperor isn't a good guy. I think the best way to put it would be that he is an excellent ruler but not as good of a man. For example he earned the epithet "the Bloody Emperor" because of the massive purge he conducted when he came to power (remember Arche, her family was one of the lucky ones since they only lost their status and wealth) and he takes an aggressive stance towards the kingdom. With his talents for scheming and manipulation he could easily be seen as or become a two dimensional evil king trope in almost any other show.

Post Episode discussion. Anime Only. I thought we already knew that other people from Yggdrasil have been here. In one of the seasons the Godkin were playing with a Rubik's cube that was an ancient artifact handed down. I think the Godkin are the children or decedents of another group of players that came several hundred years ago. We also seen a blue dragon and an old lady that talked about Yggdrasil as well. If they belong to a different group then it makes sense that every X amount of time. Say 200 years another Guild from Yggdrasil shows up. And that's the prophecy. I don't know what the trigger is. Looking at Ainz's situation maybe its only people who were logged in when the servers went down who got Isekai'd into this world. If that's true Ainz is never going to meet anyone from his guild because the only person who showed up on the closing day for the game was the slime guy who got off before the servers shutdown.

Yes, but the word "good" king doesn't always mean the country would be better off. Good ruler needs to be good and bad when situations need it, the Emperor purged corrupted nobels (you could twist it to say corrupted politicians) who were only detriment to improving the Empire. In the anime in season 3 Ainz talk about it when they first time visit there as Momon of Darkness. PS. In LN it's even more clear what kind of ruler he is.

Well you just wrote so many things that they just talked in beginning of this episode. They don't want the information that you explained through LN knowledge. So...my advice is to just in very simple terms and only how & what anime only shows remind them about those.

They are humans, what do you expect? You can just use what you said to humans in our own world. In that sense writer of this story nailed how humans behave very well. They think they can overcome as 1. They don't understand his full power 2. They only heard some of it from other sources. Humans never believe unfathomable things when somebody else tells them even if they always trusted that messenger fully. It's basically somebody you trust with your life, come and tell you "Aliens arrived" no fucking way would you believe unless it would be reinforced through news or you actually with your own eyes see it. Last point what this episode showed, Slayne Theocracy in that meeting actually can understand better than any other humans we have ever met, they could even understand 11th tier magic is possible, why they talked about descent of a god.

HAHA, YBRL cracked the Daddy Bones code in his analysis at the end. Next episode will be so funny, I really thought we would get this whole arena event in one full episode, but they added Slayne Theocracy strategy meeting. If you guys have time you should really rewatch Season 2 episode 1 where you can see both the "godkin" talking on the hallway and one of them playing with that rubicks cube. Another good thing to remind yourself is the old lady with the dragon.

Its hard for a “good man” to be king. I expect just about every leader of a powerful country to be involved in something. Lee never has to make a decision that involves dropping a bomb on people. Presidents do. It often results in civilian casualties. Its gonna sound cheap. But I’m basically saying. The emperor is a good guy as far as Emperors go. Lol.

Can you elaborate on this? What part is information from the LN? As far as I’m aware, the only LN thing I mentioned is that Shalltear has character classes that cause her attacks to be fatal, which is a trivial detail to explain what happend to Kaire. All the details here appear in the anime. I even added the episode numbers so they could look it up if they wanted. If you can tell me what LN knowledge I have in my comment I have no issue removing it

No, I didn't mean it in that sense. I am not trying to say anything negative to your comment and personally I wouldn't mind that comment. But if you listen to what they talk start of the video, is that they don't know what is LN knowledge and what isn't, people gone crazy neurotic to avoiding spoilers (speaking generally only). It's not like they are doing full rewatch analyzing things that happened in every episode. They just want to have fun and good reaction with their own guesses. Understanding and getting all the nuance things that happens from only anime information without having LN background information is hard in this show and how you wrote your comment was nothing spoiler, but it comes very clearly with LN knowledge advantage how you wrote it. This is just how I understood what they talked in the beginning of the video, if I understood that wrong. Then YBRL if he reads this can correct me.

Personally this isn’t they type that bothers me. It’s not a blatant spoil. It carries the LN perspective so THAMOR IS right. This comment alone is innocent but borders the line of my personal tolerance. So I’m fine with it. If anything it’s too long to read. I don’t generally read comments that long. I get overwhelmed. I look for quick easy to digest comments.

Wait I have a question tho because at the end there is the idea that Shaltear showing up alive would be bad for Aizn and Momon but she was only discribed as a powerfull vampire named Onopenioko or something + when brain cut her nails she as a vampire had a different costume and appearance like the blond hair so for me it would not be a probleme. And good thing we Demiurge they won't make that kind of mistake well as long as Shaltear obey tho because they all have free will as we saw in Cocuetus and Sebas Season
