Bottom line is: The Deep lost a real one. Not only did she help him achieve his ambitions, she was even okay to explore more sexual options when he suggested it. Even tolerated the whole octopus thing in the beginning. Of course it's not perfect. They probably lack communication. Deep gets arrogant once he taste a little success that he forgets his humble beginnings. The last scene with Deep sums it up. He cried cause he knew he fucked up. The end. That's my opinion

It's weird because you could say it felt like it could have worked ie: I feel like if Deep wasn't an idiot and actually talked with her instead of only mainly thinking about himself from the very beginning then she may not have built up resentment for him overtime. Truth of the matter is their entire relationship was built on monetary gain that all started with the church of the collective. Don't forget the Deep didn't even want to be with her in the beginning he wanted the other girl it just became convenient to have her around since he can't think for himself. Which brings things over to her end in regard to morals and goals and what her purpose of even screening to be "The Deep's Partner" even is. To begin with almost no woman would want to willingly go into a relationship with a man who is known for SA/R. TLDR It was artificial from the start

Theres alot of problems on both sides. She used him to gain fame and did anything for it. She try to control him and not allow him to have any say. Second things didn't go her way, she try to do the toxic shit as usual as any manipulator "I did this for you or made you blah blah blah lines" She aint no real one, unless want to be controlled in relationship. Then deep is to naive and stupid to understand of being an equal. He either to pushy or doesn't do anything at all and gets pushed around.

Deep literally had better relationship with octupus then with this controling manipulator who only used him to gain. She said she "loves him" right, second that deep didn't listen to her for single second and used his own MIND. She went behind his back to completely destroy him in days. Right "SHE LOVED HIM!" Then deep is an idiot who is either arrogant when fame hits him a little. Or just gets doggie fucked by everyone including this "wife" of his. Only reason she even agreed to that "octupus thing" was because she wanted to keep the fame of her being the deeps wife, then actual relationship. She wanted fame more then anything, which is why she tried to get fame by slandering him afterwards.

Controlling yes. Wanting to get fame? Hard disagree. Where did she do anything to get fame. She only rose to fame after splitting with Deep. Even the commercial didn't have her as the actress. Ultimately, she's just the type who likes to satisfy her partner but in a controlling manner. Don't think having your partner want to have sex with an octopus over his own wife (calling it vanilla) is a "second things didn't go her way". If my significant other did that, that's a big deal and not some minor issue. And like I said with a human she was still entertaining and even animal she did it for his sake but it crossed the line for her. Not a perfect relationship by any means and like I said communication was a big issue. When did Deep ever communicate his dissatisfaction over her managing him seriously? He did it when he crossed the line. Have a proper man with that wife and it wouldn't have the same outcome

They’re both not good ppl and they weren’t good for each other imo. I know a lot of ppl see her helping his career and all that and see that as a good thing. But why was she helping his career? It was all for personal gain. She was using him to achieve a better life for herself. She was also incredibly controlling. You can say that is only because the Deep is so dumb, but if you feel the need to control a person’s every step, you shouldn’t be with them. However, she stayed because she wanted to continue to use him and when she couldn’t be with him she found a way to use his name to further her life goals anyway. As for the Deep he’s obviously a piece of shit. It can be easy to feel bad for him because it’s hard to tell if he’s really that shitty or is he just that dumb and weak that he can be constantly manipulated into being so. But then he’ll do something that reinforces that he is in fact a pos. Deep put faith in his wife but his wife had no faith in him. His wife did all the work and Deep did nothing and was incredibly ungrateful and dismissive. She didn’t actually help the Deep tho. Rather than making him a better man she just acted as a mouth piece so he never changed. Basically from the jump they were never a team. Deep is a pos and his wife is manipulating and self serving. In hindsight they deserve each other

I don't hate the wife at all. She's a hustler. I mean she was raised in some cult and basically given away to this creeper dude and tasked with rebuilding his image. And she did have to do most of the work because Kevin is a dumbass as she says. Deep well, is the Deep. He is always the one at fault in some way or another.

I don't like how the Deep is always a punching bag. He's the easy target and everyone takes a swing. Instead of looking at the flaws of other characters. So what if all of season 1 & 2 were because Homelander raped Becca. The Deep forced Starlight into giving him a BJ! While Translucent watched! And Maeve told her she needs to toughen up. But man that Deep is a piece of shit. When A-Train found out he was lower on the totem poll than the Deep he betrayed Starlight and got Supersonic killed. But the Deep ate Timothy hahahahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣 I fucking hate the Boys community sometimes. As for the topic. Does anyone know without looking it up what the Deep's wife name is? She's not her own character. Her personality is controlling wife. She doesn't exist in a scene without the Deep. She's a parasite.

Well I mean her whole entire job in the beginning was to be his PR wife and to regain his status and influence and use it for the church. They both then left the church, but she just never stopped being his PR wife. And the Deep never stopped being the Deep, just unleased more of it. She did her part, he couldn't stop being a weirdo screwup.

Well. She is typical controlling wife. A parasite that sucks all good things out of your life. Yes she was good for Deeps PR, but she was horrible for him as an individual. They should break up, cuz that relation was toxic AF, just not like that. Speaking for myself. They were literally using each other. I dont blame Deep for leaving her. I blame him for not realizing they both need each other. I think at this point Cassandra got enough where she doesn’t need him. But deep goes DOWNHILL without her. In this show everyone is shitty lol. My stances are generally whos the least shitty here TODAY. changes next episode though
