Gonna post a review later, had some feelings on what I thought was missing from this movie being GREAT GREAT.  All in call. it's ok.  Still a fan of the Nolan Franchise as the best piece of work I've seen related to Comics but at the same time...it's own thing.

i love the nolan series, but i do think this batman is the best comic book accurate but also best “batman” movie. where we just focus on batman becoming greater

I think the THe dark knight is the better written film, but the Batman represents the world of Gotham and it’s characters better IMO.

I got the Dark Knight over this but I honestly think this is my 2nd favorite Batman movie ever. Batman Returns is up there too for me. My only “issue” with the movie is I like playboy Bruce Wayne and that wasn’t here for obvious reasons but I still prefer it. I’m very interested in what the 3rd movie of this series looks like once everyone has settled into their roles and is more experienced both the actors and their characters. I think it has a lot of potential

Great reaction so far but since u didn't acknowledge the twins, I would like to request that u watch Teen Wolf w/ Tyler Posey and Dylan O'Brien. Hands down the best wolf show ever made. Action-packed and a great story.

I haven't watched the video yet, but I wanna make a comment on the description, I think it's unfair to compare this to the entire Nolan trilogy, comparing it to just batman begins is more fair and imo this movie is better than batman begins. Once this gets its sequel and likely a third movie, we can fairly compare the franchises

Yea. I already acknowledge that’s it’s not fair to compare the Batman movies in the video. But the sentence regarding the Nolan Franchise was me comparing it to EVERY other comic related product including MARVEL. But yea. Even Batman begins the 1st movie I consider great. It’s not fair to compare but at the same time just for conversation, or expressing my opinion. I am just saying what i like more.

Finished watching. My opinion is the same. As a standalone this movie is GREAT. I wouldn't want to compare it to the Nolan movies because they are vastly different. Which movie do I personally like more? The Nolan franchise of course but still a great movie and hoping to see how they handle the sequel. As long as they maintain the quality of the writing, it'll be great.

This was not what I was expecting going into a Batman movie, it didn't feel like a Batman movie. However, as a standalone thriller/crime movie based in Gotham it was great.

I feel like this movie felt like I was reading a Batman graphic novel. I really enjoyed the memorable cinematography. I liked that they skipped the origin and just started with a raw year 2. I say this beats batman beings for me.

To me this feels like the most batman of the batman movies. Showing batman being an actual detective and having actually investigate stuff and even have to backtrack or follow up on things. Batman actually felt like a genuis which i never got from the nolan batman. And finally as much as its great to have a villian whos journey and evolution is great to follow Batman, the actual MC got a full flushed out backstory! He starts the film saying "I am vengance, I am fear, I am the darkness" and ends it leading people out of the dark into the light saying " Justice not vengeance" realizing people need inspiration more than fear for actually make a difference. Again most movies batman just punches some people, throws around 40 gadget half he doesnt really need and then runs off into the night because at the end of the day BATMAN. Btw i love all of those other movies too

The only thing that would have made this movie better is if the writers didn't chicken out on Bruce's parents being bad. "They are bad. They covered stuff up and killed a guy...no no no wait no they didn't we just playing". No stick to Bruce's parents not being good people so that Bruce feels its his duty to undo what his father had done and be the man he thought his father was. Character grown times 100 right there.

I wouldnt say they chickened out. The Waynes did cover a bunch of dirty secrets up and while okay thomas put out a hit he sicked a mobster on an innocent man knowing who falcone was. Bruces character growth is that he realizes that there is no black and white and that no one is entirely nnocent or guilty whether its his family having a dark past or that this criminal (catwoman) is seeking justice for someone besides herself.

I don’t think they chickened out. It’s grey and the Waynes are certainly a Villain in someones eyes and hero to others. Often that’s the case. All the Noble first world countries. Deal with criminally abusive countries and/or involve themselves in dirt. I’m not gonna name but Basically the movie exposed Thomas Wayne as a True Politician that we know them to be. They often make dealings with bad people. You can’t name a US President in the last 20-30 yrs the world can Unanimously think is good.

Tbh this version of riddler looks like hush, speaks like hush, acts like hush, and is just called riddler cuz the name is more recognizable by normies. Great movie tho

Awesome reaction. I very much enjoyed it. I skimmed the comments and watched the end so forgive me if i did miss it. I just wanted to say that the New York pride in me couldn't help but mention that "A rat with wings" is common term for a pigeon. Which is why i believe bats never put himself in the equation besides not seeing the effect he is having on the city. I think it also makes the scene where the guy says, "I am vengeance" to batman more powerful because it finally clicks. Damn, i might have goofed lmao

Huh did you guys really not catch that Riddler didn’t actually know Bruce was batman. He thought him and Batman were on the same side and gonna be buddies, he wouldn’t have tried to kill Bruce if he knew he was batman
