Actually his original headband did have a red cross on it, fun fact. Anyway, the show comes to a close as Asta and his devil brother finally become friends. How sweet. I really can't wait for the day it comes back. I just hope it won't get horrible animation like Seven Deadly Sins did

The thing is draining life is not an instant kill depending on the size of the human being or how small the animal is so she probably did drain some of his life force but that stuff can be regained if it's left alone so she just took them far away enough to the church and left him

The studio did come out and say they stopped cause they got close to the manga. And the anime will continue once it get far enough ahead

I like to think Asta's dad was just a regular dude, unlike Yuno, Asta had to work for everything while being born with nothing (except for getting a devil possessed grimoire)

That’s kind of hard to state because we didn’t see the full extent of her ability the snake got killed very quickly and she drained lucifero very quick also

The snake is relatively small so you have to remember the amount of Life Force contained in something small as relatively low because you have to remember the snake was still scrolling around before it died which means it took a while a human baby would take a lot longer we also don't know the distance between her house in the actual Church

I do wish they explained her origin a little more like why her body does that unless it’s in connection to her magic which I just realized while typing this her magic is to transfer things with little to no magic And or life essence into another thing while her body drains mana and life force

It’s manga filler but anime canon, I know people who have skipped it only to end up totally confused when anime canon characters show up again during manga canon arcs. Also, it’s not exactly horrible, unlike some filler episodes.

I took a scientific approach to how Liebe acquired his anti-magic powers. He was in the grimoire with the Demon-Destroyer sword. That sword drains mana from whomever holds it. Only Licht could handle it because of his immense mana pool. So like an iron nail being rubbed by a magnet, it will eventually get magnetized. Liebe received the same properties as the sword by being holed up in the grimoire with it. The movie was supposed to come out in 2022 but the whole world ending pushed the date back to 2023. I’ve read rumors that the anime will return in 2024, but nothing from official sources. I’m not holding my breath because that most recent chapters in the manga have been disappointing. It feels as if Tabata was being rushed to finish the whole thing. Remember the witch queen already established that Asta is not part of the elf line.

No hate As i love black clover But i always feel black clover as a mixture of Naruto and bleach you can see relation with kuruma stuff with some of its own uniqueness Then the division of squad is like bleach soul society squad any way again i love black clover its just that how i feel throughoutt the series when i first started it

I think the issue is more on the new editor who is a newbie whereas the previous two editors were series veterans who handle larger and successful mangas and know what they are doing, unlike this person who first editing job is Black Clover. Not sure why they decided to give him the job. Tabata had mention the editors play a major role in helping guide the story. Real reason why the later arcs are feeling more cliché, heavier battle oriented and heavier fan service compare to previous arcs

Actually, Henry came from a prestigious noble family, not royalty. But good thought process! I've never even considered that asta might be a descendant of the elves. But that definitely makes sense, and also explains his hair. I mean, the only others we see with hair like Asta and Licita are the elf-human hybrid descendants, as far as I can remember.

The witch queen has already stated Asta is not a descendant of the elves though. She originally thought he was but as the fight in the forest progressed, she realized that he was just a defective human with a devil.

The movie was never supposed to come out in 2022, it could have if it was a bit rushed but I heard the people working on it were focused on writing scripts and the story for a lot longer than usual which is the reason for giving us a 2023 release date. The anime probably won't return until later than 2024 unless they start making it seasonal.

My theory is that while asta’s mom was making him her doing that could have made him immune to her stealing his life force while also stealing the little fragment of magic baby’s normally have is why asta has no magic idk if right or wrong but that is what I believe

Not confirmed but it makes 0 sense for it to be for multiple reasons: They stopped the anime due to how close it was to the manga - making a movie on the manga would make this pointless anyway as they would be caught up again and it would most likely take a few more extra years for the anime to come back. Second reason is the posters for the movie - they showed Asta with both his arms being normal so before the dante fight. Third reason is the trailer they released, it had nothing to do with the manga - sure it was probably stitched up real quick and haas nothing to do with the movie anyway, but if they were basing it on the manga they couldve easily showed manga scenes as that wouldve been easier to do. Fourth reason is how long they took with this movie, I heard somewhere that the long wait for the movie was because they were making scripts/writing out the story and apparently even Tabata was involved in some ways - this wouldnt be needed if they were just following the manga.

It crazy like every youtuber is like it a big deal but 1) the first source say it a short break 2) all big jump serie have a break after a major arc cf one piece after marine ford , bleach after soul of society and naruto just beford the time skip For now it a bit early to panic in fact it probaly a good signe : generaly they do a big break affter a arc to let the autor time to think about the next step that mean it will have a next step and so bc is realy unlikely to enter his last arc beford a least one arc that mean a lesat 2 ar is plane

Golden dawn only had the people killed off that were literally non existent characters. Besides one random ass dude that had 2 lines in the entirety of the series all of the slightly important characters survived. It really wasn't all that. Really didn't do much besides just make Yuno have a stronger emotional reasoning behind getting stronger and getting back at the devils. But anyways I really loved this episode with how they did it. Good way to end off the series for the time being. May or may not come back after the movie. If the movie flops the series might not come back.

It was made very clear that the gremoire book that Asta has is Licht's very own four leaf clover book that turned into a 5 leaf clover when Licht was taken over by hatred or whatever it was. So asta has the book and swords of the leader of the elf's and a devil who has the power of anti magic.

You guys were trying to look too much into who the "leader" of the trio of devils is. It really doesn't matter. Besides in the beginning it was Dante leading the forefront. Dante had to handle much stronger opponents compared to the skeleton guy.
