....It's worth making it till 1 hr 26 minutes and watching this struggle, I ran low on time because this show is LONG and Adorkablenerd came through...  SPOILER FOR EPISODE...READ AFTER the episode lol

I knew it was gonna go back and forth through time, but I won't introduce points where people "spoil" the information and I'll allow my co reactors to pick up naturally and let the authentic shock come in and share the excitement....on EP 3...it became so painfully obvious lol, that it needed to be addressed so Director is at 100% in understanding the story...lol

I think it’ beautiful how they had the 2 timelines happen and the hints we got all along. When I watched and realized, it put everything into perspective! It made the watching experience even better.

Sonicluis

Dan why you spoil about the two time lines for my boy director.

Yaboyrocklee

Lol. Dunno if you’re joking but it needed to be addressed plus i know from comments and messages. I’m crippled myself. Can’t not utilize the info after this episode lol. I can’t speculate or move forward on thoughts with one massively behind lol

Mintteacup

Bro, nasty saying "you have the wrong name" has me wheezing

The discussion was so entertaining 🤣

Andre

Another great reaction 😂 I was going to start the new season this weekend but I’mma hold off until the homies are all caught up too 😎 Enjoying rewatching this season

You missed the part where Geralt (The Witcher) explained how to remove the curse. You have to keep the striga out of her crypt until the rooster crows three times, Gerald had to fight her until dawn. I didn't watch the show, I didn't play the games, but it seemed obvious to me in this episode 3 that it was two different times, it reminded me of the anime (So I'm a Spider, So What?) It was funny to see how long it took D.Nasty to understand what you were telling him.😂🤣

Andre

Lee was minutes away from going full Chris Tucker in Rush hour on Director: “Do you understand the words coming out of my mouth?!” 😂😂

Yeah that sucks, so many people just can't keep their mouths shut in comments. Just let them watch, in this season there is a point if they still not understanding people can point out the time skipping. Oh well, in a sense it might be just better you understand it already YBRL =)

I don't think in this cases there was malicious intent I have seem other reactions where people hate the show because they could never understand the different time lines or took way after episode 4 to get it & them they deem the show a bad one, so I believe people were afraid this might had being another situation like that.

Xsardes

You missed the show version of "how to lift a curse from Striga aka. princess". And it basicly was keep her out of crypt untill the rooster crows 3 times. Funny thing how 3 versions of this story are the same, but different. In game (and IIRC in book too) it was litteraly it, just like with st. Peter. That rooster needs to crow 3 times, and then it's done, and show just went with "screw it, fight untill it's daytime, it's basicly the same anyway"

FSD

Out of interest, any of you guys played the games? (noted they're very long). If not then all the better as they're set well after the Netflix series

Kevin

I think the parralels are, while in Gertals scene a monster was cured, in Yennefers case one is made?

Thamor

Have to say I really liked the end talk when you both so confused :D

Thamor

I see it more as both girls were reborn, Yennefer born with new appearance and Striga finally turned to human.

Allram

Good reaction :D

Is there form this week only one orvelord or will it gonna be 2 ep on Tue every week cause in schedule it showing overlord only on tuesday

Daniel Borrego

so season 1 is a bit of a mess story wise, but season 2 is legit good. so its the perfect time to pick this up. all i gotta say about this episode is what i did initially. 'jesus christ yen!?!!!?!?!?!' and for director, yes yen was making those people. yennifer is a bit of a freak. you guys should play the witcher 3. not as a stream as it takes a million hours, but its such and amazing game. probably the best rpg i've played. there is so much depth to the characters and story that you get lost. heart of stone is amazing and blood and wine is the perfect end to geralts story. both dlc. one thing i'll say that i've learned is that yennifer is a bitch, but shes also a badass. she does what has to be done. full respect.

Sonicluis

What day do you upload this out of curiosity. I just finish season 2 and can’t wait for you guys to catch up.

Yaboyrocklee

We record Wednesdays and Sundays. The episodes are long and we are “rushing” so. I don’t have a schedule 🤷🏽‍♂️. Lol. We do what we can

Black Hawk

The timeline explanation had my mind blown. Good shit

Andre

About the timeline part, there is a reason so many commented about the timelines in episode 1 reaction. The scriptwriters and the directors failed to provide enough cues through visuals and dialogue when an event was happening in relation to the other events. It can be spoilery, and it should be respected going forward Lee doesn’t want that kind of info, but commenters were just clarifying facts. Viewers were supposed to catch: Episode 1: Renfri sayin Queen Calanthes won her first war, Episode 2: Stregobor no longer being in hiding and with the brotherhood, Episode 3: King Foltes as a child and old man. So it doesn’t spoil the story as it literally makes no difference to the story as the show writer fully intended for audience to know about the different timelines in episode 1. They just did a shitty job showing things were on different timelines. Even as smart as Lee and Director are, it took a while for Director to understand- even though Lee was explaining it.

BoxHead

That One dude was talking about who’s fault it is I was reminded of Tokyo revengers when kazutora talk about some of “Mikey‘s fault”

3 weeks later; I honestly felt it was intentional to be subtle, having re-watched many a-times and having realized the time stuff in ep 1-2, I feel like it was actually a great way to connect the timelines towards the end, since yes, it's very easy to say "x time" or "week's/years ago/before x event" but would've that improved the show? I'd say no. And I did watch it with my parents and they were hella confused until later episodes which seems to be the normal. If they did indeed mean to make it obvious then they failed xD otherwise it's fine. I wouldn't call it a spoiler to say about the timelines per-say but it might ruin the surprise however.
