Dude I’m 46 and have been a fan of Shang Chi since I was 8. That was when I was heavy into Kung-fu/Karate films so Shang-Chi and Remo Williams were my move. I was so psyched when this movie was announced! Trumped Spidey for me.

Yea. You can recommend them. I dunno how much we’ll do though Movies are taxing on time lol. But I watch Marvel movies anyways so. Director came an extra day to do it do it doesn’t affect schedule shows. Like i can already say. We doing Matrix whenever that comes. I’m a big fan. (Spider man I’ll go to theaters for)

I was convinced watching this in theaters and with the Spider-Man trailer that the sanctum sanctorum has fallen on hard times and Strange just has Wong fighting in underground fights to keep the lights on lol

Ok, that is AMAZING movie, and "noone" watched it, beacuse 1. Covid 2. Not mainstream character 3. There is just too much BAD disney/marvel shit going on 4. Litte/wierd marketing...like really I am super into Marvel (noone cares, but funny story I got into Marvel, in like 2016, beacuse girl in my class I had crush on was into Marvel...got the girl for like 2-3 months, and we broke up, but I watch everything Marvel to this day), and even I missed it...I mean I knew there will be "this marvel movie abaut asian guy", "ok cool, noone cares, if all they have going for them is being asian it will be a crap, with no plot, and some forced divercity beacuse 2021" and boi how wrong I was to think that...I mean, outside of last fight it have little to do with a Marvel movie, but it is awesome kung-fu/ish movie

Shang Chi was popular in the comic until white boy Danny Rand did the same thing as a more approachable shade, lol. The ONLY reason I knew this character before the movie was announced was an old What If comic I randomly had about “What If Shang Chi Killed Daredevil?”

Fun fact: Dweller-in-Darkness is the literal son of Cuthulu who’s more interested in our mortal plane, he’s usually one of those extra dimensional threats that fall under Strange’s purview so that’s probably why Wong’s coming for them.

This movie was actually pretty hyped up before release. Shang-Chi actually overshadowed Black Widow which came before, and Eternals which came after. This movie was the second most hyped and most anticipated right under Spiderman: No Way Home since late summer. I do know some people did feel like Shang Chi was not as mainstream, but there was still a lot of hype. I thought for sure Eternals would attract more hype, but there was a slight let down I feel with that movie. I liked Eternals, but I liked Shang Chi way more lol

I'm a huge movie buff but life doesn't align schedules to watch them with friends/family. watching movies like this with da boys though, this shit was lit. Highly entertaining and I would LOVE to see more movie reviews. Much love.
