Lol. So begginging talk was we concluded Steins Gate considering the OVA. My commitment was to watch until Kristina was saved lol. I’m that level Simp. I’m satisfied. This is conclusion guys. Thanks for recommending this series. Moving on.

EP 25. It's the best place to stop before taking a break from the series as a whole. If you're a Kristina simp even the more reason to watch it. The OVA is only 24 mins like an episode length. If you see the preview at the end where Director said "They went to the US", that was for episode 25 (OVA)

O - Okabe Rintarou /Okarin S - Shiina Mayuri / Mayushii H - Hashida Itaru / Daru M - Makise Kurisu / Christina K - Kiryu Moeka U - Urushibara Ruka / Rukako F - Faris NyanNyan A - Amane Suzuha In Steins;Gate, they use Last Name (family name) first, then their first name. I believe that it’s more typical in Japan, but I’m no expert. A lot of their nicknames come from the combination of the last and first name. Hououin Kyouma is based on a mad scientist character Okabe saw on a TV show him and Mayuri had watched together.

Episode 25 has really good Okabe and Kurisu scenes though if that's what you're after. It takes place right after 24. And the Steins;Gate movie takes place after that which is also focused heavily on those 2.

Sawlid reaction guys! Steins Gate, one of the best time travel stories in history. It was awesome that it showed why time travel could be so attractive to people, but then it switched it up on you and showed just how complex and destructive it actually is. Just like Kurisu said in one episode, changing the past is not an option cos you became the person you are today soley because of the choices you made and experiences you experienced from those choices.

This made me happy, the fact that you guys aren't doing Stein's Gate Zero makes me sad, besides this and Overlord I'm not very interested in the current schedule so I'll probably unsub for a bit. I loved your reactions and it made me watch Zero (which btw completes the story even more, I've never seen plot done that way before, like holy cow). I really enjoyed watching the series with you. I can't believe they got convinced not to watch SG 0 ... the bad part is that i can't even defend my position about this since it will most likely spoil... and people just out here saying its bad... its not bad nor it is a side story its pivotal part of why the steins gate time line became a success

Even the next episode preview says episode 25 is canon to the series. Most of the time OVAs are just canon bonus episodes that were released with the blu rays or aired outside the standard 12/24 weekly episode cour seasons. Those who say episode 25 isn't canon are mostly VN purists who think anything that wasn't in the VN/LN/Manga source material isn't canon to the entire series. When people say Steins Gate is the greatest story of all time, they're talking about the main series (episode 1-25) the movie (sequel continuation from 25) is sort of a forced shoehorn continuation that's pretty skippable, and 0 is a canon sidestory serving as the backstory of future video Okabe, but the quality is a step down from the masterpiece of the main series. So if you are satisfied with quality over quantity, you should watch 1-25, and maybe eventually 0, if you want quantity over quality, then definitely watch 0 and the movie. Skipping episode 25 is like watching Star Wars and stopping right after the Emperor dies. Like sure there is no more fighting and lightsaber fights but you're still missing the big story closure that you've been watching the entire series to get to.

Isn't all of them remembering what their other timeline did just dejavu?
