We adjust the schedule drastically when a show doesn't perform well on youtube.  Apologies in advance, obviously we enjoy the series, but the algorithm says otherwise.  A gentleman Brian asked earlier about patreons watching youtube videos to also help.  I'd never ask you to do that, but yes, letting a video run in the background, sharing, liking, dropping comments help, especially when your rooting for a series that needs a little Boost. For example, One Piece and Black Clover are self-sufficient. lol  A show like Steins Gate NOT doing well is discouraging for its genre.  Fortunately, I had a blast, I purchased a Christina Figure LAST NIGHT after this episode lol.....She's in the Hall of Fame lol.

this show is really good for creating theory discussions so if people already aren't here the intros and outros i can see why this would struggle. but its still a show that made me buy the Blurays i loved it so much, so its great seeing you guys enjoy and discuss it as well

Great reaction as always! Sorry to hear about the Youtube troubles, but so far you only are on episode 7 on Youtube. Most people are going to be watching the 2nd half of the show. I can almost guarantee that episodes 12 & 13 are going to have high view counts let alone the later episodes. Thanks again for reacting to such a good show!

I don't think Christina saying she's in love did anything. I took it as Okabe deleted the D mail, and she came back to tell him just as he pressed delete but it was too late.

Yessir! Finally, Lee and Director acknowledge Christina (Kurisu) as the best girl lol. Definitely worth it mentioning her in the last episode comment. Also, fun fact for ya all, I'm watching Steins Gate with ya all for the first time, and for me, she's the perfect girl for Okabe based on pasts episodes and this episode definitely confirmed it! XD

I’ve looked at some statistics of other reactors who have watched stiens gate and that is absolutely true once they hit episode 12 the viewer count when up quite a bit

Might have performed better if you were playing the game Steins:Gate (the updated one with the integrated anime scenes.) I think that some people shy away from shows and movies based on games because they figure that at best the adaptation doesn't do justice to the game it's based on, and to be honest it's rather rare that they are wrong about that, but this just happens to be one of those rare exceptions.

You guys really need to watch the OVA after the season 1 for some closure before you guys take a break from the series. I don't want to spoil anything but trust me on this. It's just one episode in length

I think you guys have a wrong idea, I think for Okabe, Mayuri is like a little sister to him and Christina is the girl he loves. So he has an impossible choice to make, he chooses his childhood friend who is like a sister to him and who normally had to be alive or he chooses Christina the woman he loves but who had to be dead in their original world. . Basically in their original world Mayuri is alive so if Okabe chooses Christina it is as if he is killing Mayuri because normally Mayuri had to be alive and not Christina. He tried to save them both but eventually chose to restore the original world. I still hope he manages to save Christina too, and I'm sure he'll save her. At least that's my opinion.

Lol interesting that yall came to the save Christina conclusion because of the cheeks but for meit came at the realization that we will lose her. She is just more useful but then again she works for SERN in the future so that's tricky, but damn it is complicated
