I knew for abaut a year now that Overlord re-watch will be a blast, but my God watching Lee and Nasty fanboy over small details in episode 1 is even better than their "so incredibly wrong, they somehow are right" theorys from the og reaction. Aslo who want to bet that somehow Adorkable aka. Spoiler Queen will somehow find a way to spoil da bois, despite them seeing series before?

i watched season 1 in jp. but im currently listening to the just released audiobook and obv, in English. This might be interesting to compare them better.

I loved it so far! Was thinking about rewatching it myself (again) but waited for you guys. Also can't really remember if or when they explain what albedo is, but it's not a secret, as some people can guess, she is a succubus.

Ains inner voice suck, but his game character voice is dope, albedo va sound cringe all the way but others guardians seems okay, love sebas and demiurge va for now bcs its only 1st episode, glad u guys leave the subs on because i think the subs is the same as the original version right? Because when the joke from the dub is too cringe i can read the subs and play the jap va in my head... Lol This is only my 1st impression of the dub so bear with me. Lol Nice reaction.. keep it up

I don't know that I'd say they suck. Are there better dubs in the world than Overlord? yes. But they are not terrible. Personally, I've never found any of the VA's in this series to be "Cringe", but that's just my perspective. I started watching anime in the early 90's and a lot of projects back then didn't always have the best voice acting. This, compared to many of those, is top notch. I don't think they did too bad creating voices that matched look and personality of the characters. Honestly, if I were to pick on anything in this series, it would have to be the CGI. I know that's kind of low hanging fruit, but I've just never been a fan of it. I understand the necessity for it, but it doesn't mean I have to like it. lol

Yes. There is official audiobook. Voiced by Ainz-sama english VA. Fan one is probably better anyway, but I will check it out. (If you want link to fan one @ me on discord, it should be first result in YT search but we all know how YT works)

I watched the show in dub first so maybe I’m biased but I like Albedo’s voice and Ainz inner voice isn’t great but u hear less and less of it as time goes on so

That is not a spoiler...I mean most of this is mentioned somewhere later on in random dialogues, but novel have it all right here, when guardians are introduced so... Aslo. Not High Litch, Elder Litch, there is no such thing as High Litch in Overlord (there are Night Litches, being more powerfull variant of Litch, but not the poin). Aslo aslo not even an Elder Litch, but an Overlord, the highest form of undead magic caster

I found out what Albedo was on a certain scene and for me Experiencing that blind was 🔥🔥🔥. I’m also enjoying what AdorkableNerd figures out on her own so I give her NOTHING. We just laugh and get pumped. I was actually not feeling well on ep 1 and 2. I’m ready for more

is it just me or is the audio and video seems to be not sync. the audio is 2-3 seconds ahead of the video. at first i though it was just because it was DUB but i went and watched the video on a website and it sync up well enough not be distracting. is this due to patreon player or something esle?
