Bruh! Director calling Hinata Sakaguchi "The church lady" cracks me up everytime. I can't help but imagine Rimuru getting wrecked by a old lady in some Queen Elizabeth get-up.

Jonathan Kernick

BTW that was a screwup on the translation, Middray is not as powerful as miliam, what he ment to be saying is: I i may not look like it but i am sutable to be a platemate for Miliam, meaning he can fight miliam and live, not win not even close to that.

Michael Panico

blue and green hair ones plus Guy are also primordial demons and Diablo’s “siblings “

Dragon Prince

It's so funny that Rimuru had absolutely nothing to do with this fight and yet he's being worshipped

Fluffyfreshmeat

Adalman the index finger if I remember right is about 10x more powerful then Shuna it wasn't explained well but the ability she used Overdirve is her 2nd Unique Skill(or a part of it) that she recived as a gift when Rimaru become a True Demon Lord. That skill is what made it possible for Shuna to win. If I remember correctly if not someone can correct me.

ExhaustedZzzombie

Shions people were the ones that stayed behind. He let her go to possibly get “revenge” on Clayman

Echo The Dolphin

rocklee that clown hat tho i want one

Oliver

Hey guys so the job i thing you are referring to is Shion's squad also Rimuru's personal guard. They stayed in the town keeping it safe. Also minor minor spoiler but the reason that Veldora dosen 't go north is because he is afraid of his older sister the ice dragon. She is the kind of older sister that beats you up to straighten you out and she has done that many times to Veldora he does nott want to see her ;)

Jerid Glasspoole

Messed up part is that skeleton is as strong as a overlord. Far stronger than her, but boom trap card for the win.

Asserooku

The anime skipped some of the details on Shuna's power and I doubt that they're gonna include it. When Rimuru evolved into a True Demon Lord, all monsters connected to him evolved further and received a gift according to their desire. Shuna received the unique skill "Manufacturer" which allows her to create her own magic skills/spells. When she used the spell Alignment Field, it was a recompose combination of the barriers erected in Tempest (Holy Field + Anti Magic Barrier). The barrier denied all undead inside the barrier, and only strong undead such as Adalman, the Death Knight, and the Death Dragon remained. She tempted Adalman to cast the great spell Disintegration to reuse the magic power and used Overdrive. That spell broke the seal tying all the undead in Clayman's territory, freeing them from their shackles.

Peacefinder Simply

Umm what? This looks just like plain spoilers, from a light novel or manga reader. Heres why, anime made it look like shuna is way stronger. We don't know what a overlord is either.

SolitaryLark

Man I loved seeing Rimuru angry animated epicness

Anonymous

Was already hype for your reaction, but that intro took me to new heights!

SolitaryLark

Shion-raw physical strength , Soei-stealth, Shuna-magic, Hakuro-pure sword skill, Beni-jack of all master of none but a deadly combination.

SolitaryLark

Beni is probably the strongest but most of them it depends on context of the fight. (Kurobe crafting if you remember who he is lmao)

ANIMEMUSE

As someone who read the manga and light novel the next few episodes are gonna be fire 🔥🔥 🔥

Daniel Borrego

heres a neat detail that you may have missed. i missed it too but someone mentioned it on another video. when rimuru, ranka, and shion walk through that door and it closed behind them, the start of the opening is literally the continuation of that scene. its pretty cool.

Nathan

In addition to her gift from Rimuru's evolution, something the anime skipped in season 1. When Rimuru was in Ingracia, just before he met the students, he spent some time in the library and used great sage to scan and record every book he ran his hands across (He didn't even need to open the books, with great sage+magic sense combo he was able read them while they were still closed on the bookshelves.) . He later made copies of those books and made a quick trip back to Tempest and gave Shuna a bunch of books on magic. Its implied that Shuna read all those books, an entire libraries worth of books and tomes on magic, so she the most educated on magic in the entire JTF (just behind Rimuru, Veldora and Diablo). And since those books were from a Human school, she knows the ins and outs of the type(s) of magic that humans would use, including holy magic.

Phenex Frame

For real. But I'm disappointed in the dialog from this episode, in the Manga was way better.

R'ja Norr

You are correct. She lacked the ability to generate enough holy magic to do what she needed so she provoked/showed him the way to generate it for her. When he cast that powerful spell she used Overdrive to weave the holy magic into her own spell and used it to crush him.

Dragon_Max

Adalman is Wight King not white king a mistake in translation

Ltnorm

Shuna!!!<3 ohh and fuck Clayman up...

Luke Alba

wish more one piece episodes were coming out consecutively! black clover is awesome but one more day of one piece a week would go a long way

Luke Alba

only reason i didnt like the stream-able links from a bit back is that they lag on my laptop. all the other links work fine, and love the vids!

Thamor

There is a schedule? ^^

The reason Clayman hits Millim in front of everyone is specifically to show that he has control over her. The demon lords don't truly have a democratic system: it's all about power, who has it, who can pool it together effectively, and how vulnerable they're willing to make themselves if they were to move on the other. For the most part, the demon lords are not friends with each other. They're more like the heads of rival nations who WILL take advantage of another's weakness if it suits their goals and the risk is low enough. To Clayman, by showing that he has Mllim under his thumb it showcases 2 things: that he effectively can use Millim as a weapon against anyone who opposes him (and NO ONE in that room, even Guy, can take Millim lightly when she decides to throw down for real), and also that he has some sort of ability to control others directly, even as powerful as Millim. Sure, if all of the demon lords were to gang up on him Clayman would probably lose, but doing so will expend a lot of resources from anyone who participates and will leave them vulnerable to any other demon lord that decides it's more in their best interest to not join in the curb stomping and instead do some back stabbing ... and demon lords are EXACTLY the sort of folks who would do that to each other. Also, it isn't exactly clear what would be gained by taking out Clayman aside from removing him as a threat ... which antagonizing him ABSOLUTELY makes you his (and vicariously Millim's) enemy while at the same time opening your back as prime knife real-estate. All of this is part of Clayman's calculations, seeing the demon lords as a council of rivals that won't hesitate to opportunistically take advantage of each other if given the chance. That said, Clayman is a narcissistic, hubristic little shit weasel, so his thinking may be very off on this ... but from a pure politics standpoint if everyone were as cutthroat as he is it all makes sense.

Brian Carotenuto

I don't know what you're talking about they seem to be friends if you watch the episodes and you read the manga Guy's friends with Leon Milim's friends with Frey. Guy, Ramiris and Milim are friends so this whole not being friends and backstabbing each other is just not true the only one who's trying to backstab people is the dirtbag Clayman

SonicKing2004

If Futaba of Persona 5's Phantom Thieves were ever summoned to this world I think that she and Shauna would get along famously, for Shauna totally hacked Alderman's Disintegration spell and used it against him and the other Wights. Also Clayman's pretty stupid all right, it seems that Rimuru's plan of getting Clayman to lower his guard through misinformation is working a bit too well. While Rimuru did want Clayman to not take him seriously, I don't think that he could have imagined that Clayman would be so dumb as to smack Milim around in plain view of everyone. Add onto that the fact that Millim is Rimuru's friend and now Rimuru has plenty of reasons to take Clayman down, with the hardest part being sticking to the plan of giving Clayman enough rope to hang himself with.

Nathan

About what 'god' monsters would worship. they don't exactly have a religion, at least not the same concept of one that humans would. the monster's that inhabit the Jura Forest (even long before Rimuru showed up) considered Veldora their guardian deity. ((Side note: even though he is their guardian diety, most monsters in the forest could never even approach him [even before the hero sealed him] because his aura was that powerful, weak monsters and even unprepared humans would just die in his aura alone without Veldora even needing to do anything. Only the strong could even consider approaching him. This is one of the reasons every one doubted he was Veldora when Rimuru freed him and brought him to town, they couldn't' really fathom that they could even remotely be in such close proximity to Veldora and survive)

GorillaTaxtiX

Man, I never even thought about that. Just kind of puts it into perspective a bit as to how powerful Rimuru was from the start. That fact that he could be in his presence without even noticing until spoken to means the amount of magicules he was subjected to for his proximity to Veldora didn't even register to him. That, kind of shifts my perspective from start to finish a bit.

Overlord_Ashalon

With respect to Ramiris go back and watch the fairy tale that is clearly about Milim you'll find something interesting.

Vayne

awe they missed how it transitioned from him entering to the OP. :( definitely thought they would notice
