The filler u guys watched in the past was G-8. This marine group G-5 is totally different and they operate in the new world.

One of my favorite things about Fishman Island and this arc you're getting into right now(my favorite arc in the series), is that it really lets the Straw Hats breathe as the strengthened characters they are after the timeskip, they don't immediately run into an enemy that is suddenly their perfect match for plot convenience, the Straw Hats, at least the main powerhouses, are indisputably, pound for pound the toughest fighters in these arcs, for the first time in the series, at least ever since they got to the grand line, it's the enemies who are on the defensive for the most part, not the Straw Hats. This isn't to say there's no danger, but it's a much different feeling than most arcs.

Sorry I couldn't disagree more I think this arc is probably worse than the foxy arc which I found to be one of the worst arc in any anime and he is one of the worst characters in any anime
