Working our way through...not much to say on these episodes...but i know its important to go through the experience for whatever is to come........patience lol.... 
I read about people UPSET that i had nothing to say about Ace and White Beard on ep 483. and they equated it to me being dumb lol...Fam i was CRYING lol...for the first time...i was sad lol..hilarious...folks complain i talk to much....then i got silent...and they say Lee had nothing to say about Ace....

Dont worry about not having much to say, I am just glad y'all getting through these episodes at decent pace. Some other creators be doing like 3 ep per wk 😒

i actually skipped this arc, found it boring, not a fan of long back stories. I have the mentality of seeing progress in story and while backstories fill in information i want to see the now and see the experiencing the characters go through then.

Its just three kids going up together ( like slice of life :3) so having nothing to say is understandable..just enjoy the ride as not all episodes have to have deep meaning. We are just finding out how sabo and ace had influence on luffy growing up as he never talks about it. When the backstory ends, just think through some of the conversations luffy had with people and u will realise how these two shaped him

Naguri is filler, but it's good filler that fleshes out the world and develops the characters. The bit about the Celestial Dragons and Sabo's dad paying Bluejam to track him down is canon.

In case you're still wondering. From Luffy leaving his home town (Ep1) to Marineford Ace dying. In One Piece time it's less than 1 year. Some people say 6 months just 'cause that's the mid point between 0 and 12 months.

It’s only been 3 months that they were together, Starting from when luffy first formed his crew to when they got separated

This is what MOST fans have been waiting for. A Luffy flashback. I love this arc. Baby Luffy is the cutest.

nice catch w the red beaded necklace dadan has on lee. almost exactly the same as ace’s, i think his is just a bit smaller, i think i’ve read that it’s his small tribute to dadan somewhere online

I didn't remember these episodes or this part of the arc, but I think that the hat we've seen Ace wearing from when Luffy reunited with him in Alabasta to the moment of his capture looks an awful lot like the one we seen this old guy wearing here. Of course the one the old captain has looks a lot older, with the brim not as firm and the colors altered by an accumulation of dust and dirt (and the glasses being more in line with Doflamingo's than Ace's) but the overall design reminds me of Ace's and makes me think that is what Ace would have looked like had he been allowed to grow to old age.

first time around i felt the same. i didn't think it was bad or anything, but i wanted to get on with it and finally get the crew back together and what not. The flashback picks up quite a bit towards the end, but i understand how you feel. After such a long time it is almost exhausting to have another arc before the crew can come together again.

Lmao bro the next three episodes are amazing. Like you guys havent seen the best part of the flashback, its so important to build up what drives two of the characters shown in this flashback (I won't say which ones).This flashback foreshadows a lot and introduces you to one of the most important characters in the story.

I don't think Garp dares to raise the kids him self. I think he fears if he brings them up they end up like his son.

Plus he's a Vice Admiral. He doesn't have time to. We don't know what's up with the other blood relatives. Plus Garp wouldn't want the son of Roger and Dragon to be near the Navy until they become old enough to become soldiers or their lives would be in danger. We saw nobody but the Admirals knew Luffy was the son of Dragon. And when he gave Luffy a bit of freedom, he was influenced to become a pirate. And we saw how people give kids up to the government for money. The Bandits was the best he can do.

You've obviously skipped through cannon before because way more happens this arc that connects past arcs and next ones. If you don't have the patience at least read through it, even though the emotional resonance won't hit as hard for when things connect.
