Garf was talking about seeing Subaru's writing on the walls when he went inside to do the trial (that's why Subaru said that he didn't expect Garf would've seen it as there were no plans for him to take the trial).

I might be wrong but im pretty sure Emilia is hundreds of years old and not 15. She said in earlier episodes that she was trapped in the ice from age 6-7. That would mean shes only been trapped for ~8 years - that seems too short when you see the crazy events in her past (as you see in the next episodes). It just seems way too short for those events to have only happend 8 years ago. She was even saying how young Subaru was during episode 1 of the first season. and he said he was 17 turning 18. Again I could be wrong and I know you saw this long ago but I still wanted to comment.
