I think the main reason why Hephaestus called the weapon "wrong" to blacksmiths is because if there exists a weapon that can grow with its owner, why would anyone go back to a blacksmith ever again? It's capitalism, they make weapons that can purposely by grown out of so they go back to the store and buy new weapons every few levels. Plus Haphaestus is the god of blacksmiths, she just made a weapon that denies their existence.

Way Way late, Danmachi S1 e3 Freya wants bell because he has a pure almost ephemeral Aura about him, apparently she can see peoples personalities in the form of auras surrounding them. He is the only one she's seen with such an aura and it intrigues her.

Don't sweat saying the names wrong. Sometimes y'all come up with some of the best wrong names I've ever heard. My favorite so far was Director in Spider calling Hiro Wakaba "Waba Shawty". I wish he still used that one. That one always makes me laugh.

Actually I take part of that back. Hestia isn't best girl but she is damn sure best waifu. I got another one or two girls coming down the line that is definitely in best girl category.
