I really liked this episode, even when Kumoko wasn't shown almost at all. So many hints to things in this one. Ending scene "BODY!" got me laughing :D. Btw Spooky isn't Kumoko/Wakaba she was sitting in the corner alone in that classroom, my guess is Spooky is Sophia.

I think you guys missed what the first part was saying. The Demon Lord literally said the queen taratect and other spider monsters all obey her. There's only one who managed to break the kin control and that's Kumoko. The Demon Lord simply used her kin control skill to look at mother's mind to check on her status. She's NOT the Queen taratect.

You got to give Fei some slack. She finally obtain a form that seems like some lighting of her "punishment". Even though D said that they were given forms that fit their souls. Even Kumoko has a desire for a human form. It is normal for her to act more like her old self. I do not see her becoming a bully or villain again. If anything she is just more upbeat and less destructive.

Okay, the English word "Vestige" means something left behind. So you really shouldn't be confusing it with Kumoko herself. Also, the previous hero party faced 1 of the vestiges in episode 6 or so. It was the one with the 3 Greater Taratects.

Yeah, I think Director went too strongly on the idea that the Mother spider and Demon Lord are the same, when they aren't. That ending scene had the "BODY" Kumoko mind attack her when she went to check on the Mother Spider's soul. That is how I understood it. Well I could be wrong and Director cracked the code :D

Kumoko explained that Abyss magic is similar to Heretic magic in that it targets the soul. In other words, immortality doesn't prevent being wiped out by Abyss magic. She's nowhere near out of the woods right now.

Woah, you guys really mixed up Spooky with Wakaba. I'm not sure when and how this happened, but didn't you guys realise they're 2 different people before? Negishi (Spooky) was CONFIRMED in the ANIME (episode 14) to be Sophia the Vampire. Someone please tell Rock Lee and Nasty this. You might want to re-watch episode 8. Please.... even if you skim through it.

The System voice is the same in and outside the labyrinth. You can hear it when Shun got the hero title. Also the church calls it the Voice of God. Also that lady looks like the possible Goddess Sariel from the Taboo Info dump Kumoko received.

Her immortality skill does not consume anything. She was saving MP so she can escape the demon lord if needed. She cannot not die but also needs auto recovery and/or healing magic if she wants a body again.

Always love seeing spider, but you guys have kinda misinterpreted a few things and are starting to spiral off in another direction entirely that might make things difficult for you to understand.

[Im amime only bois so don't worry] I'm pretty sure you got the end scene compleatly wrong. Let me go in step by step how I think things are. (First of all Mama Spider is an undrling of Demon Lord, and not the same person) 1. Mama spider went out to kill our spider, couldn't do it 2. Our spider started to catch out and kill 1 by 1 Mama spider minions 3. Mama spider called for help from Demon Lord 4. Demon lord came in and oneshoted our spider (but immortality OP I guess) 5. Demon Lord went to check on Mama Spider only to find out the attack of pararel brains is still going 6. When Demon Lord was inside Mama spider brain one of pararell minds did the same thing to her as they did to Mama Spider 7. Demon Lord got "wtf?! This shit can work on ME?!" 8. The hell I know [Human PoV] I'm 99% sure the guide guy told that Mama Spider USED TO be the ruler of the labyrynth, but isn't anymore=our spider is the top dog there now, aslo our spider managed to get "endless" body dubless [Demons PoV] Mama Spider is still fine (they mentioned crossing her therytory), and Demon Lord is clearly still the ruler there. Remembering that one of her spider minions was problematic but isnt anymore...and then it showed us once again this white demon lord minion. I'm 99% sure that this is either even more in the future than human side, and Demon Lord had beaten our spider into submission, and reinstalled Mama Spider as top dog of the labyrynth OR it's happening at the same time, and Demon Lord had beaten our spider into submission, but sees her as a more valuable that Mama spider therefore our spider got to be top dog of the labyrynth with her body-double-avatat-thingys, meanwhile main body in humanoid form is close to the Demon Lord 24/7 so she can't try to do something Aaaand It.might all be nonsense, the beauty of being blind!

The Girl with the tooth in the dream is Spooky or Negishi Shouko who we have confirmation is Sophia. Spooky is not Hiro Wakaba who is likely Kumoko.

This is the stuff you are misinterpreting. Mother and Demon lord are not the same entity, Mother is a child of the demon lord. There is only one Demon lord the scene takes place after she backhands Wakaba. Mother asked for help as she is linked to Demon lord same as Wakaba, just in reverse. that's about all I can say without risking spoilers, hopefully, it will clear things up for you.

Ariel and Mother have been appraised by Kumoko by this point. They show that they are two different people/monsters. Ariel was likely using her Kin Control on Mother to see if Kumoko's attack had stopped. What we likely saw was Kumoko's body brain using Ariel's kin control skill with mother to enter Ariels mind/soul and start to try to attack her like the three minds originally entered mother's mind/soul.

Mama Spider maybe dead. It sounds like the mention territory is for a different Queen as it sounds like there are multiple around the world. The Army event is about the same time as shuns timeline and Kumoko's is still like 14-15 years before.

I have not seen any spoilers, yet, just people trying to point out aspects in this mystery of a series. The LNs are better, however I do love the anime so far. Just as a LN/Manga Reader I know the anime could have been better if they had a bigger budget.

I think Director massively misread what the Demon Lord said when she popped into the mind. She never said "I'm still being attacked?" or anything like that to indicate she and Mother would be the same beings..

It is entirely possible that our spider and the demonlord pulling the strings and making life difficult for Schlain and the others are one and the same. Just because we have a demonlord named Ariel who looks a lot like that one in the future, and even though Ariel is trying to kill our spider pal in the present (or past, whatever), that doesn't rule out the possibility that our spider takes that form in the future.

Mother (Queen Taratect) is not the same person as Ariel (demon lord), period. I don't read the novel or such but It's pretty clear to me that Ariel tries to stop the attack by Kumoko parallel minds on mother and her (Ariel) mind herself got infiltrated by one of Kumoko parallel minds at the end of this episode.
