So here's my theory. All the witches are Emilias mom. They said that Satella ate/absorbed all the other witches, so if she had a daughter after that she might be like the daughter of all of the witches since they were all one within Satella

I think Roswaal was meaning that he couldn't believe that Ram would love him as the situation between them was that he was to blame for killing Ram's parents & home land. I think in sick way Roswaal wanted Ram to get her revenge on him and kill him as his life is pretty much suffering one more thing that makes him similar to what Subaru had been going through.

I guess Rem still had the better Chances than Ram. Because i read that in the Novels, after they defeated the White Whale and Subaru talked with Rem, he apparently also talked with her about her Confession, and he asked her if she can wait a bit, because he would want to Ask Emilia if she would be Ok with it that he takes Rem as his 2nd Wife, while he takes Emilia as his first Wife. So Rem still had higher Chances to be accepted then Ram for the Moment ^^

Well I don't think Ram is dead yet, but badly injured. Will be interesting will Roswaal change from getting his last connection to Echidna cut off with the book and if the barrier is down the body of her is officially dead?

between the LN and anime, you can easily see they tone down the whole relationship with rem and subaru cause i think gotta take different approach a bit then whats written since cant take it all in, with whole rem flaws of complex on her sister and obsession on subaru it was for sure tone down

2021-07-24 23:36:21 Just wanted to post something I was thinking from the biggest mystery in this episode. That is the scene with Echidna's body and Emilia says "Who is this person?". This made me question, does the Echidna face we see in the dream world really belong to her, as my guess is that her real face looks different and if you would have to guess it would look a lot closer to Emilia's face. Another tip for this is the flashback with Ryuzu, Beatrice, Roswaal & Echidna as Greed's face isn't shown at all. So it's real possibility still that she is the real mother of Emilia and that would explain her emotional state of seeing what happened in Emilia's past.

I had that thought too that she changed her appearance because she looks similar to Emilia, but I think it’s her aunt. I don’t think her mother would treat her daughter like that, I think she blames Emilia for her sister or close friend for dying- the other witches know her mother too. I just don’t see her being the mother as Reguleus the archbishop of Greed wouldn’t go after his witch daughter I’m assuming

Couple interesting things: (1) When Garf bit Elsa it didn’t heal, is Garf a vampire too now? (2) The snow was falling when Emilia left the sanctuary did Ros last attack on Ram use so much mana it caused snow to fall? Damn. 3) Subaru gotta do the same thing and burn Beatrice book. 4) Emilia looks like Satella, all the witches cry when they see her - she is definitely one of those witches daughter/grandchild!

My own thought process on Archbishops has been that you shouldn't make them together with the witches. My guess is that all the Archbishops representing a sin are cult followers of Satella, so they are all only Satella's cult people. It doesn't feel like the witches we have seen would have those kind of Archbishops. Another point on this is that it was said Satella killed all the other witches and took their powers, so in that sense the Archbishops could represent all the sins, but belong to her.

True, it'll be interesting to see the story behind how and why Satella bodied all the witches, and how the archbishops got their powers. Given what we've seen of Satella I don't think she was the type of person to start a cult after her, she said to Subaro "Come kill me", maybe she fought the witches to finally die? Also Beetlejuice Sloth power was in a box, Pandora's box? Maybe Pandora had something to do with gifting the powers to the Arch Bishops – we'll see though. I still don't think a mother (Echidna) would treat her daughter (Emilia) like that though

The problem i See with Emilia = daughter of a witch is, she was born 116 or 117 years before the Story started in the elven forest. Then she was Frozen almost 93 years until she came out of the Ice 7 years before Subaru came into the World. The Witches in the other Hand died or were killed 400 years before the Story starts. Even the author didnt revealed any more Details about Emilias Mother, only what we heard already ( That she was a Human and decided to live with the Elves and was well loved by all Elves and that Emilia has her Face from her.)

I didn’t notice the heal buuuut. It’s common for Vampires not to heal when bitten by Lycan (werewolves). Garf turns into a Tiger lol. Maybe the author is using that concept

That was an interesting point. I thought nothing of Emilia saying that. Maybe she was literally asking who Echida was in general. It’s like meeting Director in the woods we talk for a bit. He dies without revealing his past to me...and I’m like...who was that guy. Lol. Rezero be talking like that. Took me 5 episodes or so to realize Beatrice always says I suppose. Lol. I thought she was always unsure or something 😂

i THINK roswaal used a genjutsu on emilia to keep her from interferring. not sure if it activated before she broke the spell or after she left the tomb. i think the 'storm' was in her mind. puck mentioned he put a spell on her. i mean he'd be up craps creek if he had to face ram, puck AND emilia. about emilia's mother, i kinda think echidna is her mother. i found it wierd that in the flashback with roswaal that you never see echidna's eyes in the entire episode. then we dont see the eyes of echidna in the tomb either. i think she has the same eyes as emilia. emiia even mentions she doesnt look like mother fortuna when she see hereself, and she is emilia's aunt. so she probably doesnt look like her dad either. more like her mother.
